Just change the Just tip to another driver like Orbit Metal, Atomic, or any other good defense type drivers

Agreed. Especially since the launches in that video were... interesting. It seemed like nearly every battle had seriously bad pendulum motions, with lots of disk/chassis to layer contact. I'm sure the Just driver doesn't help much, but the launch angles and performance of the beys in those battles... I dunno.

It's 200% on the driver, while it can be argued how truly good Jet is that driver is just holding it back. It gets destabilized way too easily near the end of a battle and just makes it very easy to beat by even outspin.
I think Just is the most stupid thing in the whole Sparking series, or even in the whole Burst series.
The over 20-year Beyblade history has proved that such a tiny sharp tip is totally useless (unless is in ZeroG Stadium) over and over again, no matter you made it plastic or metal or free-spinning. If you want to make a sharp tip useful, you either make it rubber (RS) or fuse it with other tips (SWD/EWD/Revolve/Eternal). Even for Survive it is not that kind of tiny sharp tip, but is more like a SD tip. Hoever, at the end of the fifth year of Beyblade Burst they make another tiny-sharp tip...
Imo it feels like they only painted the disk as a way of saying "Hey we know the driver sucks but hopefully this will still make you buy it?"

Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if that were their reason. This driver is so bad I have to make an exception for my opinion on "as long as it's a new part, I'm satisfied".

Also I'm interested in "wearing" my Jet layer so it spins freely both ways. I've done so with ratchet, do you think it can be done with Jet?

It's hilarious. Sure, we could've received an atomic metal or something but this is JUST perfect.

Personally I'm somewhat fine with the driver being bad since it's actually a new, semi-unique driver. I mean yeah, I wish it weren't awful in performance, but hey, at least it has a somewhat new tip. Unlike Drift which was just Yard with Mobius's tip glued to it.

Same reason why I loved (and still do) the Wave Driver (which is super underrated).
I'm not the biggest fan of these tall/dash/metal variants. It's a rehash of the same stuff we've seen with a fresh coat of paint. I'd rather they take a risk and give us something fresh. Sometimes, they work out (Phoenix, Master, Judgement) and other times they don't, but I still love their creativity (Bullet, 2D, Quest, Trick).

1. Would an Awakened Jet ring be legal? (I wore my ratchet by using Judgement on Octa vs Perfect Phoenix Rachet bullet. If it's legal I'd probably put it against mirage)
2. Would an Awakened Jet have a better or worse performance?
This would be good to clarify some rules, because if it's super OP after awakening it might be banned or something. Dual spinnign Jet will be a nightmare to all attack types unless it has some major weakness like Tornado.

3. The free-spinning ring just floats atop the teeth, which disrupts its weight distribution by shifting the ring around.

1: The teeth of the mechanism would be a minuscule contribution to the weight as is, they wouldn’t throw the balance off any more than the metal would on a cho z layer asymmetrical or not
2: This would only be a problem against reverse rotating beys, Jet sucks against beys of both spin direction. It’s the Just drivers doing.
3: Again, the perimeter of the ring is composed mostly of plastic and rubber, there are hardly any weight variations along the outside of the perimeter so it’s a minuscule effect. The weight shifting would hardly effect the inertia since the shifting ring wouldn’t produce enough force to do that.
I definitely think that Jet can really help in anti-left. I also feel like just can help in limited. idk why, i just(no pun intended) do. Jet might be able to replace world for right opposite spin and counter rage. It's also pretty thin, which could help with a lower center of gravity. Also, around might have a bit more use in the meta, with more people trying out combinations.
