I mean, if it’s being advertised as an “old rivals bey” then somebody has to own it. Lord Spriggan, Galaxy Zeus and Guardian Kerbeus were never advertised as belonging to a blader but this release is receiving that treatment which means it will likely have an owner.

This one can't be wyvern as Wakiya's spot in the legend ranks will inevitably be taken by Hyuga. Leaving us with Genesis or Phoenix.
at first i was actually confident that this would be wyvern the same way I thought deathscyther had more chance to be in the attack random booster but with the certain events that happen in the manga. this will most likely be Phoenix cause it's honestly more like the genesis and xcalibur will be the random booster . cayse this guys aren't in danger at all to lose their legend status not like the bottom 3 . funny how ragna got g is evo it's laughing at both wyvern and deathscyther hahaha for these 2 .

It actually could be Wyvern, for one, Wakiya is one of the top 5 most popular characters for Burst, and two, I think he has the highest chance of appearing in the anime out of any of the remaining Legendary Bladers in Sparking since he is chairman of the WBBA, even if he lost his Legendary Blader rank. (but there is a chance that he doesn't)

I mean one thing I could see is that unlike Hikaru, Hyuga actually struggles to make it to S-Tier and gain his Legendary Blader status and in order for him to do so, he would have to face Wakiya, which might be dedicated to an upcoming chapter (around the same time as this Booster, maybe?).
I'm not saying this is definitely the case, but if we ever do get Wyvern in Sparking
and it maintained its free-spinning gimmick from tW, then I could see Hyuga facing against Wakiya as a means to test himself, in order to be able to beat Lean since the new Lucifer also has a free-spinning gimmick on its Layer Ring. Plus, Wakiya has a decently big role and is the chairman of the WBBA, wearing new attire (much like all the other Legendary Bladers with Sparking beys).
This is just a guess, but I honestly think Wyvern still has a chance to get a Sparking upgrade. It would be such a wasted opportunity, if they didn't.
Really, the only thing holding back the chance of a new Wyvern is that maybe TT didn't want to be too redundant with the free-spinning Layer Rings, since Curse Satan and the upcoming Lucifer The End already have free-spinning gimmicks but hey, there's still a chance.

Maybe he come only as a last resort. Then it'll be Forneus vs Lucifer. Forneus was also an old rival defense beyblade. It would also be a bey that noone expects.. So it does make sense. There are too many free spinning parts already for there to be a new Wyvern. It could be a Phoenix.. I would love that. But since it's a booster, the character would most likely appear in the anime.. And phi is so random. It doesn't make sense.

Fubuki is not a legend blader so that destroys all of your logic. Phi wouldn't be random because he works well with the theme of a Dark Flare.
