I would like to highlight that this is illegal but you can have so much fun with this at home, especially when using plastic against a metal series.

I came across this 7 years ago on BeyBlade UK

You'll need: a certain amount of plasticine, a beyblade, a toothpick

It's quite simple.
Open up the blade and first insert the putty into the spinning gear, and close it. Then put some putty into the blade base. Make sure the SG can fit into the BB. Add some putty on the connection points between the WD and the SG. If there is any putty sticking out just remove it with a toothpick. Shake the blade; if you can't hear any sound while you shake it then you've succeeded.
This will make your blade heavier.

The original recipe contained the putty, that's where the name comes from. I dislike the putty because when it dries it hardens and your blade isn't usable in the tournaments. With plasticine you have no problem, you can remove it anytime making your blade legal once again.
I think what most people use for this is blu tack. Plasticine generally needs to be scraped out if you want to remove it, while tack just peels out in one piece. Plasticine might be slightly more dense though...

Thank you for your input.
It doesn't really care, one can use any material of this kind.
