Valt is never portrayed as a villain here. Either way its too early for Shun to win.

Still, luck alone shouldn't be enough. Even if luck is used, at least give the character some skill and power.

it's similar to a chassis but its already fused with the ring.

Well the problem with that is that when the chip isn’t fused it won’t mechanically work, thus creating a dun dun dun plot hole. A way it could work is by creating a new chassis.
