Hello All,

I'm a hobbyist who recently repaired my Dragoon V2 attack ring by redesigning it in Fusion 360 and 3D printing it. I went ahead and did my best to make an accurate 1:1 replica of Dragoon V2 A - 69 and I thought there might be some here on this forum that would be interested in something like this so I have posted it to Thingiverse and MyMiniFactor to download and print. All the parts are tested and working. it performs exactly as the original Dragoon V2 would. Make sure to print the tip using a TPU based filament so that you can simulate the rubber tip of the Custom Grip Base.

I hope you all have fun with this.

Thank you,

Alec J. Davidson

Congratulation your design is so detailed, admirable! (I mean the look, I have not tested it) Seeing 3d printed beys makes you realize how passionate hobbyist can be.

3D printing is something I want to learn. My father has a 3d printer and I often see him drawing with Inventor or Solid work. But I realized that his creations get broken easily... maybe it depends from the printing material. Do you use any filament in particular for the attack ring? (it is the part which can broke easier, I guess)
I've pitted it up against Metal Fusion and other Plastic-Gen and it's held it's own. I used standard Amazon Basics PLA at a 10% infill. You can print it at a higher infill to make it even stronger. I launched it at some blocks of wood too and didn't have any issues.

Great question.

I use Fusion 360 to make my designs because it's free for students.
It could be... maybe the low % of infill is probably the problem ^^
