Hey all,

I am in no way an authority on here, and apologize if this post is out of line or in the wrong place. Working in the public sector in Canada, a lot of information is flowing in about this.

With a global pandemic announcement on, Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) - I  thought it may be important to put up a post about this.

Beyblade events are in public places, do involve all ages, and involve touching stadiums and the beys, we should all take some caution.

One of the most important things of course, if you are feeling sick, stay away from public events, or meet ups etc.

Wash your hands! I would almost suggest washing between matches, or even keeping hand sanitizer on site.

-wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
-use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol if soap and water are not available.
-avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
-avoid close contact with people who are sick
-stay home while you are sick
-avoid close contact with others
-cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing
-clean and disinfect objects and surfaces

Information can be found here, as well as from your local government organizations:

Stay safe everyone!
Thanks for the post. I’m in the midst of planning another tournament but think I’m going to keep it small. Maybe do several small events more often as opposed to one large tournament every month or 2.
This should be pinned
Great information
I will probably try to keep my next tournament small
The Committee has been working on official guidance. And here it is!
