so me being pretty young I wasn't born when the plastic generation was out, so how do they work? what that basically means is, what parts is each bey made from, (ex: in burst it was layer forge disc driver), how are the type matching, and different gimmicks. they seem really interesting, and I just wanna know about them a bit more.

Each beyblade was made of:
Bit chip
Attack ring
Weight disk
Spin gear
Blade base.
I hope this helps.

Sometimes spin gear and base were made one for each other, so they only could be used together.
