Really, my hype here comes from the 2S chassis. 1S is alright but tough to actually use for Stamina, so I've got hopes that 2S is actually good for same-spin Stamina and could give Glide a good kick into the spotlight. Let's be honest, even on a good chassis Fafnir is going to suck in same-spin so I'm doubtful that Mirage will ever see use, but at least 2S can see some serious use.

2S looks triangular. How could we see much use for 2S if it has a triangular shape like it has? Sure, the weight gives it stamina, but a triangular shape will hinder LAD and therefore stamina potential.

If 2A can be on the same level as 00 Cross and maybe even Wheel for LAD on Xtend+, I'm sure 2S won't be that bad.

Wait, 2A is on Cross levels of LAD?

Man, I wanna verify this now, but my Brave hasn't arrived yet. If it's true, it definitely gives me hope regarding 2S.
2A is nowhere near comparable to a decent forge disc with Cross or Proof when it comes to LAD. My source? Playing about 400 games with Brave Valkyrie and mixing the pieces for fun.

I haven't ordered my BVl, but Lazerbeamz told me that GRg.Xt+ 2A ties with or wins against Left Spin LS.7W.Br. 1B is capable of similar results, although it doesn't line up as well with GRg. That's why I have hope for 2S. Also, is it confirmed whether or not 2S has rubber? The scans make it look like plastic except for that one close-up of how Mirage and 2S line up, where there are some visible seams on the underside.
Apparently the chassis has a mod where you change its position (I guess something similiar to Brave Valkyrie) , making it better against left-spin opponents.

I agree the new photos of the stock combo shows well enough that the bey is gonna be a beast and it must look really really better than on the combo book since of the chip we saw on a high quality image

And 2A is a beast it's super heavy too and has rubber blades that ailgn with the wings of brave for 3bladed and you can change em for 6 bladed mode

Fafnir appears to have two alignments with the Chassis, one that maximizes spin steel and one where the Chassis sticks out so there's less rubber exposed
Mirage Fafnir looks too cool. I am definitely going to pick up off of these when they release.
This looks awesome!
My pfp shows it all lol.

look at this thing, i wasnt sure if should pick this up, i DEFINITELY will now!! and seeing HD pics of it is raising my hype levels a lot
WOW.

I knew how clean Mirage Fafnir looked, but having the official images, it's basically a beefed up drain fafnir, which is cool.
Now this looks way better! I'll have to get this
More and more I'm starting to really like the new Fafnir also surprised with the chassis alignment, super excited to see how the anime will handle it with the product
As long as this has the teeth to support amount of rubber, I’m all for it. Otherwise, it’s just another Wizard imo.

Typically, Super rings are pretty thin. So if the Mirage ring is thinner than the wizard base, it should be fine.
Also, the double chasis should help it a good bit with burst resistance.
Just like the people above me, I really like how this design looks. Wizard Fafnir looks kinda derpy, so I'm glad Mirage Fafnir looks so stunning. I also really like the extra touch they added to the Fafnir Chip that makes it look like the avatar's depiction is holding the Chip Core. The only thing that's kind of iffy for me is that the background of the Chip is clear rather than yellow or orange, but I'm sure it'll grow on me.

already been posted you're legit just reposting stuff that's already been posted.
Called it. Fafnir has a double chassis. Hopefully the pattern continues.

I honestly can’t wait to see the underside of this beast. I’m hoping for a smooth and round underside to 2A, although it looks like a triangle, I still have hope for its LAD potential. Also, hopefully the chassis is LR.
Looks absolutely beautiful i am not sure if the chassis alignment is gonna work like advertised since contact will still most likely happen with the super ring instead of the chassis. But overall i expect this to be a really good release what Wizard and Geist should have been. The only downside is that when the new Spriggan comes out this thing probably will be out classed in terms of same spin but that is to be expected.

Hopefully Spriggan is nerfed, that thing has been dominating tournaments ever since Requiem. Its time to give other beys the spotlight.
RIP wallet..
Man these design are just soo much better than any other fafnir personally for me the grey just lines up well with the bey creating a nice contras

A real upgrade from wizard fafnir. This bey looks super good. I hope it performs the same.

It definitely won't perform the same as Wizard. Wizard Fafnir is super easy to Burst. Mirage Fafnir has a Double Chassis, which makes it decently hard to Burst. In terms of Spin-Steal capabilities, the stock combo won't be as good as Wizard Fafnir, but it could surpass Wizard if they both use the same combo because of its better Burst Resistance and presumably better weight.
