Are the beyblade launchers made by 3rd parties ever any good?

They are usually not very good. They break fast as well. I would stick with Hasbro or Takara Tomy.
I agree, although hasbro sucks compared to takara tomy, with beys and launchers.
I would go with the Sword Launcher. I got it a few days ago and so far I really like it.
I did not notice any performance differences between Hasbro, tt, and 3rd party.

But I recommend only TT and Hasbro, because many people reported 3rd party launchers to break easier.

For string launchers, I found tt to be the best (better sounding... hard to explain). But overall the best launchers for me are hasbros Sword or riptide launchers.

The riptide launcher is cool but for whatever reason it seems like it does not launch as hard. I think I get better launches out of even a white switchstrike launcher. The sword however rocks!
Generally rapidly launchers are cheap and break easily. I highly recommend saving up a little more and buying a Takara Tomy one
From my experience, fake launchers launch greater than or equal to the power of tt launchers. But only for lr light, as that is all I have.
