I have been testing some combos out and it turns out a beys burst resistance (and maybe stamina) is better most of the time when it uses it's stock combo. Here is an example,

Luinor L3 Octa, this combo has good weight and stamina but the balance it maintains is terrible, same with Dread Pheonix P4 10 Octa.

So, if you can, please awnser this question.

Octa is carp, stock combos are also not good.

Sometimes stock combos could have the right parts for that bey, Octa is a good driver but it does not work well with Luinor L3 as some other drivers. It depends on the type of the bey and what parts are used.
Stock combos don't have magical properties that make them better. For example, Hell Salamander 12 Operate. That's a terrible stock combo. However, Salamander 10Cross Atomic or Xtend+ is some pretty good stuff.

Odin Central Blow is another bad stock combo. Odin Heavy Defense however, people loved that combo some years ago.

My point is, good parts with appropriate layers make good combos. Stock combos are rarely (or never) the best combo you can make for Beys, even when they're decent like in the case of Archer Hercules 13 Eternal.
