I’ve been working on a ton of 3D printed beyblade recently and have started painting them with normal acrylic paint. They look amazing until a weeks worth of battle chip and mess up the paint job on top and on it’s sides. I know the side paint just eventually comes off, but is there anyways to preserve the paint at least on the top on a beyblade from chipping off? Thanks!
i try Hydro Dipping them
If you're making them using 3D printing, you could try to spray the Beyblade in a layer of clear coat after your paint layers have dried. The clear coat would be the layer that would be making contact with other Beyblades or surfaces and your paint layer would be better protected.

That’s a great idea! Do you have a link to some that I could purchase or look at. I’m not exactly sure what to look for bc right now I don’t have any sprays, only acrylic.
On Amazon or if you have a Hobby Lobby, look for Krylon UV Resistant Acrylic Clear Coat spray. Potentially you could find a Rustoleum 2X Ultra Cover Crystal Clear Coat. Treat it like spray painting and spray it outside with lots of ventilation with the Beyblade on newspaper or cardboard so you don’t spray the ground/floor.

Epic! Will do! I ordered some Rustoleum and it’s arriving today! Thanks for the help!
For what it's worth, no amount of clearcoat will prevent paint from being chipped off surfaces subject to frequent, heavy abrasion. Where you can, avoid painting parts of your beyblade that need to move or make contact with external objects, like the tip or the Layer.

Thanks! I agree with you and know that the contact points of painted will definitely chip over time. I was just wanting to use some protection on the top half of the bey where it only really ever makes contact with the launcher. It’s still gunna wear over time but hey, it’ll look shiny and amazing for awhile and it’s the best I can do XD thanks for the advice!
