I have been testing out Thermal Pisces DF145WD against other top-tier combos in the MFB Attack Stadium and here are the results:

Against Top Tier attack combo:
Thermal Pisces DF145WD vs Storm Pegasis 105RF (Beylauncher)
Thermal Pisces is launched first. Storm Pegasis is launched second with a banking shoot. The RF used is slightly worn.
R1. S. Pegasis (KO)
R2. S. Pegasis (KO)
R3. T. Pisces (Outspin)
R4. S. Pegasis (KO)
R6. S. Pegasis (KO)
R7. T. Pisces (KO)
R8. T. Pisces(Outspin)
R9. S. Pegasis (KO)
R10. T. Pisces (Outspin)
Results:
T. Pisces: 4
S. Pegasis: 6
Storm Pegasis moved Thermal Pisces around like a rag doll and KOed it occasionally. Thermal Pisces won only when Storm Pegasis couldn't KO it on the first few hits.

Re-Test (Storm Pegasis with a lower track): Thermal Pisces DF145WD vs Storm Pegasis 100RF
R1: S. Pegasis (KO)
R2: T. Pisces (KO)
R3: Tie/Draw (KO)
R4: S. Pegasis (KO)
R5: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R6: S. Pegasis (KO)
R7: S. Pegasis (KO)
R8: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R9: S. Pegasis (KO)
R10: S. Pegasis (KO)
Results:
Thermal Pisces DF145WD: 3
Storm Pegasis 100RF: 6
Battles were pretty much the same as the one using the 105 track except this time T. Pisces only won 3 times.

Against Top Tier Defense combo:
Thermal Pisces DF145WD vs MF Earth Bull GB145WB (Beylauncher)
Thermal Pisces is launched first.
R1. T. Pisces (Outspin)
R2. E. Bull (KO)
R3. T. Pisces (Outspin)
R4. T. Pisces (Outspin)
R5. T. Pisces (Outspin)
R6. E. Bull (Outspin)
R7. T. Pisces (Outspin)
R8. Tie/Draw (Outspin)
R9. T. Pisces (Outspin)
R10. T. Pisces (Outspin)
Results:
T. Pisces: 7
E. Bull: 2
Tie/Draw: 1
Thermal Pisces won mainly by outspin. Pisces got KOed one time by Earth Bull's hit combined with the force of Thermal's recoil. Earth Bull won by outspin when hitting Thermal Pisces slightly off balance and digging under the wheel (much like an upper attack), causing Pisces to lose a good deal of stamina when the flat side of the WD bottom scrapes on the stadium floor .

Against Top tier Stamina combo:
Thermal Pisces DF145WD vs Flame Cancer DF145D (Beylauncher)
My SD bottom is extremely worn and I only have 1 WD bottom so I used my mint condition D bottom (which I bought together with my Thermal Pisces in the Stamina and Defense Reshuffle Set on the day I did this test)
R1 T. Pisces launched first: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R2 F. Cancer launched first: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R3 T. Pisces launched first: F. Cancer (KO)
R4 F. Cancer launched first: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R5 T. Pisces launched first: F. Cancer (Outspin)
R6 F. Cancer launched first: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R7 T. Pisces launched first: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R8 F. Cancer launched first: F. Cancer (Outspin)
R9 T. Pisces launched first: T. Pisces (Outspin)
R10 F. Cancer launched first: F. Cancer (Outspin)
Results:
T. Pisces: 6
F. Cancer: 4
Pisces got KOed one time by Flame Cancer's hit combined with the force of both Bey's recoil. Flame Cancer mainly won the same way that Earth Bull did. (Hitting Thermal Pisces slightly off balance and digging under the wheel (much like an upper attack), causing Pisces to lose a good deal of stamina when the flat side of the WD bottom scrapes on the stadium floor.)

I think this combo is quite good when facing defense and stamina types but had trouble with attack customizations.
It would be great to see other people's test results using this combination (Maybe with a different clear wheel other than Pisces) against other top-tier Beys (Libra CH120RF, Libra C145WB, etc).
Why chose such a light Clear Wheel? I'd like to see a test of S. Peg 100/90 RF against Thermal Bull DF145WD.
Other than that, it's quite interesting besides it's bad match-up against Pegasis.
Is Flame still considered Top Tier with Earth and Thermal out?

I think Flame is still a sufficient wheel for stamina.
Doesn't Flame outspin Earth on many occasions?

Yes... I think

This combo aims for stamina and most Top tier stamina HWS combos have rather light weighted clear wheels:

  • Earth Gemios DF145/D125 WD/SD/D/B
  • Flame Sagittario/Cancer DF145/D125 WD/SD/D/B
Gemios weighs 2.2g
Sagittario weighs 2.8g
Cancer weighs 3.0g
and Pisces, the clear wheel I used in this combo, weighs 2.7g

My holiday is over and I don't think I will have enough time to test it, sorry. Pinching_eyes
Maybe you can test Thermal Bull DF15WD out yourself and post the results here, thanks!Joyful_2
Putting an MF on it might help.

It won't.
How will it not? It will give it more weight just like the Bull clear wheel and mean that it won't be as easy to throw around.

It'll lose stamina, will it not?
Yeah but if your worried about it being knocked around then it will help.
That's why you don't put it against attack combos. You have a choice of other beyblades too.
This is for stamina combo, not balance xP So yeah, MF won't help.
yeah but that makes the battle really boring! Also if your trying to test whether it's a good stamina combo then you NEED to see how well it does against all types not just defence and stamina. Did you even read what I wrote? Just because it's a stamina combo doesn't mean it can't have a MF in it.

It is unusual for anyone who has any common sense to use a Stamina type against an Attack type.

Also, we are trying to make a pure stamina combo here, so adding a MF will be pointless since it doesn't particularly help with stamina nor does it increase its defensive capabilities much.
Are you serious? The point of battling is to battle all types of blades! Not just defence and stamina. If you never battle an attack blade then that's just stupid and boring. If you make a decent stamina combo then you'll be able to beat an attack combo.
I don't think you understand diamondclimax's intentions at all. He's trying to show that Thermal can be a top-tier Stamina Wheel, not that it can stand up to all types of Bey ...

I am serious. I agree that the point of battling is to battle different kinds of Beys.
However, I am not a stupid character in the Beyblade anime who only has 1 Beyblade to use, I have many different Beys to use and battle.
Also, I think you already know type advantages:

Even though type countering is not a guarantee, it is still an advantage so you will want to avoid battling Attack types with Stamina types if possible.
