I can't understand why lot of people says hey It's not happen in Anime and It's lie!
But in Japan 90% of Animation based on Comic and if Animation and Comic information is defferent Comic is true information
If it is a monthly magazine like CoroCoro, and the anime airs on a weekly basis, there is going to be a huge amount of changes for the anime version. The main plot is still the same, and story is the same, but not without a lot of changes/differences. If there was to be a true anime adaption of a monthly manga, they would have to wait till it's fully over. Take Sailor Moon Crystal for example, which is based more on the manga than the original Sailor Moon anime. Each chapter is about 35-42 pages, and one chapter per anime episode.

If it's in a weekly magazine like Weekly Shonen Jump/Weekly Shonen Magazine there won't be as many changes. Long running weekly manga like One Piece, the anime doesn't suffer too many changes. You'll usually see most of the panels in the anime.
Usually 2-5 chapters for a typical episode for a weekly manga, but sometimes more depending episode order from said company.
Problem is Anime plot isn't written by Author.
And it makes a lot of trouble.
For example, one of very popular animation DB GT (worst animation in Japan) Akira Toriyama who is author of DB didn't want to write battle comic because he is gag comic writer originally and make DB comic finish until VS Boo but Shueisha want to make money and ask Anime production DB anime independently. That is DB GT. GT is short for Gomennasai Toriyama sensei.
And it was unsuccessful and make Mr. Torishima who is derector of Weekly Jump apologize to Mr. Toriyama "I'm sorry I have to make you stop to write DB until VS Piccolo or VS Freeza."
In the other case, Koubun Shizuno who made Godzila and Detective Conan get fired from Detective Conan's derector.
Gosho Aoyama who is Conan's author wrote plot and ask movie staff make movie which is based on this plot but, Koubun Shizuno added unnecessary addition and deleted some important scene and makes get angry Gosho Aoyama and then he got fired.

If you want I can tell more stories about terrible Anime in Japan but, It'll be very long.
Anime is based on comic but some time Anime staff write original story without Author's intention.
That's why I cautioned Don't believe Anime original story.
In Japan it perfectly separated Comic fan is comic fan, Anime fan is Anime fan.
But I'm both fan
There are times where certain filler in anime are penned by the mangaka themselves. The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War 4 special episodes plot was written by Nakaba Suzuki himself. However, that doesn't happen very often.
I mean, dragon ball GT isn't that bad.
The anime happens to be either: 1) abridged, 2) not led or in cooperation with the creator, 3) almost too inaccurate

For example, Beyblade Burst seems choppy to some Beyblade fans because it lacks a lot of critical information. While a character may seem really unnecessary or underdeveloped in Burst, they are given much more details in the original product, which is the manga. And what REALLY sucks about Beyblade Burst is that, the English version is censored and have cut out parts (because they want to keep it kid-friendly as possible). Some are applied to other series and works as well, which makes the anime a choppy-ish version of the original work
i prefer anime
I would prefer the manga if I could find out where to get the burst manga
Wait, there’s a MANGA? I need to get that!
Wow, there are people who don't know there is a manga too.

Comic author write Anime plot is very rare case in Japan.

When you think It's one of Animation It's no problem but when you think It's part of Dragon Ball or It's one of Akira Toriyama's work it'll be worst

Another such rare case is Hiro Mashima, the creator of Fairy Tail also penned an anime filler arc as well, the "Key of the Starry Sky arc.".

I think Hiro Mashima is rare case
The Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods, Resurrection F, Super Broly movies were also written by Akira Toriyama. Most of the Dragon Ball/Z movies were not written by him.

Thats the case with some works, fortunately. Sometimes one adaptation is more well known than the original. For example, everyone was so surprised when they found out Jaws and Jurassic Park started out as books. And in Burst’s case, I think the anime is just more promoted than the manga (unless youre in Japan)

Akira Toriyama is very bad as scenario writer and that's why he didn't write movie his self.
He is good at drawing but scenario is very bad
