hey so i just got into Bey-blade Burst and im not familiar with terminolgies for being competitive and i dont know of any tournaments near me. can anyone help me out. Also these are the beys that i just got please let me know if they are good or viable.

Garuda G3

Amaterios A3

Sphinx 54

Lava X Anubion A4

Spiral Treptune T4
Can you list all the parts you have? I can help with semi-decent combos.
thats gonna be an issue. you see im not familar with the name of the parts
Garuda G3 is viable and useful but you have to get some better parts like caynox c3 and balkesh b3 and spryzen requiem s3
In my opinion Amaterios itself is already strong! :-)
Attack types are the best in unknown battle situations.
Get some TT beys. IMO, I would get the GT Triple booster set.
You can buy it here: https://ever-wish.com/takara-tomy-beybla...oster-set/
wait I thought Takara tomy beys were illegal in tournament play?

They aren't, it's just harder to get Takara Tomy beyblades. You're best combo at the moment is the Garuda layer, the disk from Lava-X Anubion, the frame from Amaterios, and the driver from Treptune, so Spiral Treptune 5A Wd-S.
how interesting that's actually what I ended up doing yesterday it does pretty well againest some of my friend's beys. well its good to know takara tomy beys are not off the table as I can import some of those

also I was looking at the rules for official tournament play in burst format what does this mean?

Maximum Garuda: God Chip Restrictions
The Maximum Garuda Layer cannot be used with any other God Chip except for the default God Chip that comes with stock mG–Maximum Garuda.8F.Fl from B-87–or the soon to be released B-91 Metal God Chip.

I Know I use Garuda g3 (the blue version) does that means their is some sort of restriction on it?

heres the rules for burst

You can only use the chip that comes with it. Although in your case the Hasbro chip is not removable
Ok I understand. figures im still not quite up to speed when it comes to the terminology of the burst beyblades.

Well, for one, you can not mix the parts between those two generations (obviously) and two: Burst series can burst. Metal fight can not.
You can join tournaments by clicking on the Tournaments button above and press "join tournament" you can find tournaments that are assigned in California it should be something like this

Van Nuys, CA (Los Angeles Tournament)

You can also find tournaments on websites other than World Beyblade Organization, but be careful of scammers...
Scammers are the worst.
