Back in 2004, I was on the verge of purchasing trypio from Ebay Express, which is just buying new stuff on Ebay without needing to bid (in case you did not know).

Anyway, I was on the internet for days compulsively trying to find a place that could ship Trypio to the U.S. for super cheap. I had literally put a keyboard through misery trying to find one with a fair shipping price.

Well, wouldn't you believe it? The day after, my dad has found one at a local Target. Imagine my joy when I first heard the news!

When I had finally gotten my hands on the box, I was so excited I hardly payed attention to the front of the box that clearly depicted an altered design.

Could you imagine how dramatic my "Sucker Face" was when I figured that this could not really fly? I mean, in no way is this blade a serious entry to the series, but if it was not why make it worse by basically stripping it down to a perfect circle? How would a perfect circle match off to the clawed Dragoon or the fierce Seaborg? I still feel ridiculous about it.

Are there blades you hyped for an american release that ended up being rigged?
The Hasbro Trypio was an improvement, imo. It broke less easily.
Hasbro does a fairly good job of reinforcing fragile Takara parts, that I commend them for. The only things Hasbro stiffed up on was some of the terrible colors they created, their stadiums, minor malfunctions (e.g Dranzer V2 BB), and making some beys less useful (e.g Capricorn G? bleh.).
I absolutely do not get the purpose for the gyro engine blades, the ones with the internal launching mechanism.

Just... What in gods name...

(EDIT: To add better detail to my opinion, I mean the internal rip cord mechanism adds a detrimental flaw to the attack.)

Flame Pegasus rules, it is my favourite Plastic Bey ever.

Obviously, it's not really for competitive battling.

it can be compectitive if you screw out the screw and take the sg where you replace the weight disc in to another weight disc and take it out and get the right spin sp so you can put a weight disc

creative

illegal
Sure it's illegal, but it's still fun if you are not one of those heavily competitive types who rarely hold competition...

I was bored enough one day to find exploits in beyblade parts designs.

aww man but i win alot of battles but its still good and my fav lol
a well dragoon s ruined it my mom got it in a shop in india while i was in malaysia i was using it then one day it stop actng like an attack type i checked the rubber nd the rubber was shaped like a ball i used it on a stadium and hat happen then i started shaving rubber and its fast like super fast but really lesss stamina
Rubber wears down when repetitive friction is applied to it. This is an undeniable fact of using rubber.
Hmm.... Is there a type of rubber that DOESN'T wear down easily? Even with heavy use?
I don't think so. I think the most durable tip was Dragoon V2(?), and even that wore out...

Well, I guess you could say Dragoon V's tip didn't wear out, but it was pretty much plastic (despite it being really hard rubber).
This might sound stupid, but is there by any bizarre chance, a special coating you can put on the tip (No Shark Sherlock: Illegal) to keep it strong throughout battle? Maybe an oil?
i doubt it, unless the coating you give it will allow the beyblade to spin with similar properties to the tip, because the coating would cover the rubber (as an example, assuming this is the one you would want to preserve) and, unless it had as much grip as the rubber, would probably just b slippery, and act like a plastic/metal version of the part.
Metal driger was one of them that ruined it for me...hasbro put that horrible engine gear in the instead of the HM core or whatever its called
Please don't turn this into a "omg hasbro ruined everything" thread. Granted, they made a few mistakes, but I think we all have a lot to owe to Hasbro; I wonder how many of you would even have known this hobby existed without them.
Well, I mostly direct the "ruin" towards beyblades that came before the great "Hiatus" beyblade seemed to have before Metal Fight. Beyblades like Thunder serpent had potential with the sparking features, also, sparkling attacker would be cool if it still "sparked".

EDIT:

More like, before the period beyblade seemed to vanish for a couple of years.
uriel 2 and every stadium
not completly really has ruined some burn ideas but

thats it hasbro did a fare job
I feel terrible for making this thread during my Noob days. Can a mod please close this already?
Hasbro is ok but if kids want to be a competitive blader I think Hasbro is messing them up ( also I think Hasbro is making to much Hasbro noobs )
How on earth are they messing up the competitive parts?

They're releasing Phantom, Flash, Diablo, and a ton of others will probably come, such as Duo, how can you say they are messing it up?
