I ussaly only buy packs for beyblade, but this one kinda sucks. I'll wait to see some other people get it and battle with it before I buy it myself.
They just keep on calling the black Bey as "Apocalypse", but the full name is Prime Apocalypse, right? We have yet to see the white Bey and be able to witness whether the electric Driver ("Hy"?) would show off something better than a Hasbro RipFire Bey

"RC" Bey. Ripfire are just drivers with lights in them.

Yeah, and takara tomy has not show the electric driver and genesis power

You say "RC" , but I'm not even seeing any indication that a remote controller is part of the set for it to be "RC", unless that's just how Japanese describe the new Driver as something "motorized" (which I highly doubt). Still, the leaked photo of the set is not enough to finalize our thoughts on the set, as I'm still hyped despite this release being the most un-customizable Set so far of Burst.

No, I'm talking about the RC Beys Hasbro released during Evolution where the tip is humongous. Ripfire isn't a proper comparison to the Hy driver is what I'm saying

Ohhh, I see. So you mean those two RC Hasbro Beys with gV and dF then, with that control being an app you swipe like crazy til it unleashes a "special move" which only destroys more of its stamina at the end game?

I only mentioned Ripfire cuz it's the only kind I've seen personally that the new electric Driver reminded me of its thiccness, more than say, the Mugen Drivers. Knowing TT, more gimmicks normally would only mean more carp performance albeit being fun (like Operate). If this "Hy" (probably Hyper) Driver does have significantly great performance, I'm dying to see how it'll affect the current metagame.
So we got Prime Apocalypse 0Dagger Ultimate Reboot', Cosmo Dragon Vanguard Revolve Retsu, Erase Fafnir Sting Trick Ten, and Regalia Genesis Hy. Am i right?

Hope Genesis user is Gamma, Alpha is the user of Apocalypse.
Phoenix user is Phi

Genesis blader is a good person
Apocalypse blader is a bad person.

Just guess
I'm half surprised this thread isn't people filling the thread with "What does Regalia Genesis' Hy disk/driver stand for?". As it is Rouzuke seems to be the only one to make a guess. Personally I think he's pretty likely to be right with Hyper, especially with a battery-powered gimmick to it that will probably either speed up movement or give it extra power throughout the battle. I can hardly wait to see it in action and figure out what exactly this thing is about.

This thread is about the upcoming product, can we please leave anime speculation out of it? We don't even know if they will be in the anime to begin with, so all you're doing is cluttering the thread with pointless, unrelated spam.

For some reason, a lot of effort goes into discussing fanfic level stuff like avatars and evil bey owners, etc..

Hy being Hyper seems like the easy guess, but TT might still surprise us. Do we have info on what Hy's gimmick would be?

Also, an infinite lock bey with a dash driver.. I hope the teeth won't wear out too fast

Yes, Hy has a motor. We're just waiting to see how the motorized driver will work.

I think that Hyper is a good assumption, but I think Hybrid might make more sense, since it's a Defense Driver.

Who needs teeth when you have an infinite lock? Smile

Hyper, or maybe Hybrid? If it's a combination of the disk and driver, would make sense...
How about Hyperborea or Hydro or Hymn? Hymn would work well. Or why not... Hype?

Since it has a battery and electrical components, i'd call it Hydrophobia

I don't agree that being a Defense driver supports "Hybrid" as its name at all (and doesn't really push "Hyper" out either, as "Hyper" could easily refer to increasing its speed or spin power with its motor), though I do think it fits because it's multiple things fused together, in this case twofold by A: fusing the driver with an electric motor (like a hybrid car), and B: fusing the disk into the driver. I agree with BladerGem in that regard.

Yeah, I'd say that Hybrid is 100% a Balance Type Driver, but it sounds less like an Attack Driver than Hyper. Your first point was the reason that I originally thought of the name, but I didn't even think about it being a Disk+Driver hybrid until BladerGem said it.

Back on topic, I wonder how Regalia Genesis will act in the stadium. How would the motor driver activate? Would it be random, or only at the beginning or end?
