You can try practicing with a nonrubber Attack Driver like Jaggy or Zephyr for the sliding shoot. You basically trace/push forward with your launcher the inner side of the tornado ridge while pulling on the string . If you do it correctly, it should do half to 75% of a full flower pattern motion (if on a rubber tip, the Bey should have almost a full second loitering immobile like hooked to the tornado ridge edge then start with a flower pattern attack)
If you failed it, it should either be sent straight out of the stadium (if you launched near a pocket), self-Burst (if not a Dash variant rubber Driver) to the wall, or simply lose a lot of stamina encircling the tornado ridge almost with all its spin before dying via effortless KO by mobile opponent or Spin Finish by a stationary opponent.

My 00 Disk never stuck to my Lord Base, even when it was right out of the box. The Blitz Disk obviously sticks on, but the Disk that sticks on the best from my experience is 0. It sticks on despite how worn down my Lord Base's Burst tabs are. As for the Om vs At matchup, Om does the same things as At in same-spin, but Om has a better spring and can outspin At. It's also easier to keep an Om combo away from the pocket, so there are less self KOs and less instant KOs by another Bey that's riding along the Tornado Ridge. At does have a lot more LAD than Om, but both lose to Ωcta, Dimension('), Bearing, Xtend+, Hold('), and Destroy(') in opposite spin.

So many things are beating Atomic in Opposite Spin that it's impossible to keep track of them all lol.

Valkyrie works quite well. Metsu can't do jack with Judgment (based on experience). Ten/Zan/Retsu are better for it, imo. Dragon and Joker almost have the same teeth height, so I'd be basing choice on color cohesion with the Judgment Base.

Actually it was Retsu. But I heard that one part of Retsu is heavier than the other.
