i've really been into indie/alternative rock lately. i really don't know if that's the correct label for some of the bands i'm listening to, but i'm assuming it is lol. i'm wondering if anyone has any band reccomendations, preferably similar to the bands I listed below?

wow out of all those bands you two listed the only ones i've heard of are artic monkeys and radiohead..it's going to take some time but i'll check them all out, thanks

lol Vamp is okay, it's just that there's a retarded craze for them at my school currently, and it's annoying.
Mystery Jets are really good.
Bloc Party are one of my favourite bands; really like Vampire Weekend also.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are also a huge favourite.

There are a few bands I listed that I'm actually not particularly fond of either, but I listed them anyway because I wasn't exactly sure what kind of alternative stuff SK was looking for, so I just listed the ones that came to mind.
Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly., Light Speed Champion, Vampire Weekends latest album is amazing, Yeah Yeah Yeahs (should also check out the side project Karen O and the Kids), Foals.
All worthwhile listens.
