Don't know if there is a thread for this, but do you think Valt will turn evil like Aiga in Turbo/ Cho-Z? I think he might since he might not resonate with his bey properly and become evil and break someones bey. Let me know what you think!
No, he won’t.
Nah I don't think they'll ever do that with valt .
Nah, Valt's struggled, but at worst he manifests stress and doubt. He'll be fine, and with his maturity, he's not one to be dismotivated that easily.
He most likely won’t, but I can see how it would happen.

How?
Valt can never turn evil. It’s simply impossible.
It would be really out of character for him to turn evil.

How?

For character development. Although it probably would be better in Cho-Z where Valt becomes Aiga like and acts like BEYBLADE is about winning then Drum/Aiga battles him and reminds him that BEYBLADE is about fun.
Y'all he is literally an angel this topic comes up so often I question how much you really know these characters because this is so far out of character it's like someone asking if you think Mr. Spongebob Squarepants would become evil and destroy the Krusty Krab, it makes no sense and would come out of literally no where from everything that has been established about his character, like, I'm sorry if this is rude but really guys it has been 4 seasons now and you still cannot have a grasp on who Valt as a person is?

I agree with this wholeheartedly!! Like, Valt's always been opposed to the idea of breaking beys and even dark resonance in CHOU-Z, why... why would he suddenly go to it when he's seen it almost mess his best friend up permanently. Like, Valt's one of the sweetest characters in the show-- and while he does get stressed out and frustrated from time to time, he honestly apologizes if he's hurt anyone or put unnecessary pressure on them-- ex. Kensuke and Daina. He wasn't even mad or hateful towards Shu after everything his friend did, nor was he even angry by Aiga for anything the kid did-- like Valt forgives these people easily. He's like one of the most positive characters on the show... how and... why would he become evil? Like I'm with #yukenta that Valt's a literal angel, but this topic comes up so much-- so I sometimes have difficulty taking it as a possibility-- it kind of seems more like fanfiction to me.... Alternate Universe maybe??

The three of you, RELAX. He brought up the question. Back in season 1, we'd never thought Shu would hate losing so badly that he'd join a organization, go around breaking people's beys, and under go something insane as the Requiem Project.
Oh god I'm going to wake up getting you all mad at me....but I thought of a way to work: THE REQUIEM PROJECT.

Based on the Reqiuem Project, the wiki, the show, and interpretations: the requiem projects involves the users desire to win by imagining the players that they either have the closest connection or have the strongest desire to win. Then the user becomes possessed by their Bey spirit/avatar/persona/stand/mythologic beast/Resonance aibo/stop me lol.

Now naturally, Valt wouldn't undergo this unless under certain conditions but if we use Shu as a model to what drove him of all people to become Red Eye and later the progect (losing to Free, being reminded of his loss to Lui, not keeping his promise to Valt, going through the Snake Pit's training and forging a new identity, murdering beys like Garuda presumably more than just him, and having all that effort to beat Lui go to nothing) and Valt's flaws:
1) He would do anything if his family was in danger or any risk, not dub (you know what edited dialouge I'm talking about)
2) gulliable
3) The pressure he had as the quasi leader of BC Sol between the match against Top Wand (Cuza's team/episode 9 of God) and AC Gallus (episode 12-13) ish....imagine if he lost against AC Gallus, and got his team kicked out of the World League, that might actually crush him.

Now
1) if he was forced to do so by someone that wanted him to test the Requiem Project...say I don't know, Norman finding the lab and wanted someone to get revenge on Shu or something, he could've kidnapped Toko and Nika and told Valt to get in the machine or else.
2) Valt's gotten himself into dumber.
3) Something that could happen sometime in Valt's future career, lets keep ChoZ, GT, and God away from this.

So what would be the trigger for Valt if Shu's motivation was pride and lust for upholding his promise ish, strength to beat Lui and Free. Well for Valt... how about joy.

This part is gonna get tricky to explain: how would you use joy as a evil motivation. Sorry for the reference, apparently I'm not aloud to do that, but whatever: Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger (the sentai season we adapted in Power Rangers Dino Charge), the villains in that show wanted to revive their boss by gathering a large sum of three forms of human emotions: anger, saddness and happiness. Go with it. The female villain's the one in charge of happiness so her method of doing so is actually fake happiness: a temporary short term happiness that proves disastrous in the long run…hence why the heroes have to stop her.

So what does that have to do with anything? Well Valt's winning record and his characterization is about four things: his trust with Valkyire, having joy in giving it his all in his battles, facing off against opponents giving it his all just like he is, and not letting more negative emotions cloud his judgement. So if the Requiem project focuses on his desire for joy, theoretically, he could become an evil version of himself motivated by a twisted sense of joy:
desiring to destroy his opponents and push them to struggle to improve at the cost of his own sanity, taking Valt's fun for beyblade into a sadist form. At least that's one way.

Sorry for making it too long, I know this sounds incredibly stupid but hey let's just try to respect people having their own opinions. After tonight, that definitely won't be the case, but hey, I'm aiming to be a creative writer, its what I do.

I read through all that, that sounds like the best version of Dark Valt I've heard of so far.

Aside from poking fun out our own conversations and misinterpreting yet again, I'm not going to bring that here nor bring it up in the forums again. We can most likely move it to dms if you want to get personal without attacking-- I'm just exhausted from having a misunderstanding and it instead becomes personal which was never my intention. I never said that you couldn't have your own opinions considering you were belittling me for mine and a few others. I stated out facts and you instead took out your frustrations of me not agreeing with you personally and were quite honestly rude and condescending with me. I apologize if I came off in that manner but again, let's move this entire conversation in dms if you want it personal #Strider Xanthos.

Anyway, to point out, it's why I asked if it were a fanfiction or AU. That could possibly work for a fanfiction or au, however they asked if it would happen in GT which many don't see it happening due to Valt's character. That's what we were referring to and not suddenly jumping on them without context.

I do like the idea of Valt having a twisted sense of joy and if he were put into the Requiem Project, perhaps in his mind he'd go through constant battle after battle-- still having fun but things become a bit warped more and more as time goes on. Perhaps the need for joy becomes much more like an obsession to the point that he does get into that sadist form because of the need to feel that high again, which of course he gets through from beyblade. So the push to make the better to get that high feeling again or the need to feel that adrenaline pumping through him. I can see him becoming evil in that sense... I remember that happening in another anime--

Don't get me wrong, I do like conversations that talk about an au route or fanfiction-- perhaps I misread the title of the forum or it was a bit misleading. If so, I apologize as I did not mean to jump on the person! Just that it wouldn't make sense in canon is all.

And I truly do mean it #Strider Xanthos. You stated that you wanted to have discussions and I'm open for that, what I'm not open for is personal attacks, but my offer still stands if you want to take the conversation to dms. It's up to you and I will not push you to do so. Please do not bring up something as trivial as this in another forum and completely misread another person's intent. It's a bit hurtful to the other party....

You’ve been attacking me subtly the whole time for everything and taking things out of context with me several times. I haven’t belittled anyone, this never became a problem until you started misinterpreting me several times especially when I use facts from the show. Also you can bring up

No I’m not moving it to dms. This is a community we’re. And no I don’t accept your apology because you’ve committed several attacks on to the point you’re the only person on this site that’s ever attacked me like this. I always explain my reasoning for things with full respect to the person I’m talking to and yet you still disrespect me for no reason even when I offer to explaining and analyze your responses to me.

If you don’t intend to be rude to someone, think about how you say/write/text stuff before you say it. And jumping on to someone’s else statement who’s pointing out to someone with an opinion isn’t nice, and if a topic has been brought up before, maybe its because it an interesting topic to discuss and not because people don’t understand a character. Its not a joke saying no one understands the character, its clear people do because of the thought, its just being rude and this is the problem I have with you. You’re insensitively rude and you don’t realize it.

Again, using fan fiction to say it can’t happen is carp. These writers do whatever they want with the characters they have and its not unreasonable to assume any of the staff could do this in GT or not. You can’t have a civil debate if both are you are denying the topic at all. Anything the writers could do could become canon and if we all have theories, we can respectfully disagree and still engage in the topic, not disrespect people that do.

Seriously, no dms, you’ll just leave me as a outlet to repeat the same thing over and over again. If you’re going to keep doing stuff like this and painting yourself as a victim, I’ll just leave rather than stick around and watch you do it to someone else. This is a community and nearly everyone here has been nothing but nice and peaceful except for you towards me. hiding it in DMs is basically just results in more toxicity and that’s not why I joined this site. I’d rather leave looking back on the fond memories I’ve had with everyone else instead of making things worse for the time I’ve been around, especially since I lost the massive beyblade community I had on google plus now that the site is dead and just move on.
The only reason why I suggested to move it to dms is to not flood the forums with attacking each other. I never intended to attack you and merely wanted a discussion with you. Out of the whole conversation I’ve only stated facts and my own perspective, in what ways were I condescending? I hate to point out that I saw a discussion you had with someone else where you literally belittled them by pointing out their grammar mistakes despite them telling you “agree to disagree.” You’re the one that took it a step further and continued to relentlessly go at them until you made your point across. I literally wanted a discussion with you with another perspective, I never painted myself out to be a victim.

You could have just always said, oh! But I don’t agree so agree to disagree— that would have ended the conversation just fine. You’ve literally read me as attacking and always going at you despite me wanting to have a normal conversation with you without having you jump at me. Out of my whole experience on here— you’ve been nothing but condescending towards people who don’t agree with you despite someone else’s having facts. You’ve literally jabbed at me personally several times in our conversations— your the one who’s subtly attacking me and misinterpreting my words and turning into me outright trying to hurt you.

When someone critiques on a show about flaws it’s not a personal attack— when someone sees and has their own perspective on the show that they’ve discussed and talked to others about in the previous year— it’s not a personal attack on you. You’ve literally used “whatever helps you” as a way to say “I’m right you’re wrong deal with it” which is condescending in its own way. Not only that, you’ve also belittled me with the tone and wording you’ve used when I didn’t get the references you’ve had. Do you know how coincident that is? Do you know how insensitive that is?

You literally brought up hints of our conversation from another forum because you were upset that you weren’t getting your way. Do you know how PETTY that sounds? You took it personally when someone didn’t agree with you— I would have been fine if you wanted to end the conversation but I kept it going because that’s all I really wanted out of the experience on here. A civil conversation about beyblade burst— that’s it. Why are you making this out to be bigger than it needs to be? Why are you bringing up our conversation here that has a different topic and making everything about yourself?

The reason why I came on here is because you’ve repeatedly quoted me which notifies me. You’ve literally been nothing but downright rude to me and misunderstanding my intentions entirely and painted YOURSELF TO BE THE VICTIM. You’ve literally taken every single discussion as a personal attack despite someone just stating their opinion. If you didn’t want your opinion discussed with then I guess... idk don’t put it in the forums? As harsh as that sounds? Because it’s in the public eye and anyone can have their own opinions about it. I never had the tone of I’m right and your wrong because sometimes I genuinely see things differently. People see things differently, that’s how the story goes.

I’ve tried being patient and trying to have a civil conversation with you constantly— you’ve done nothing but get worked up over something fictional and lose it the moment someone doesn’t agree with you. I get this is a community, but this is something extremely trivial and shouldn’t be flooding every forum that’s on here. It’s suppose to be discussions and peace— I’ve never tried nor attacked you on a personal level first, that’s on you.

I take back my apology, but my offer still stands. Idc if you leave, I’m tired and exhausted with you constantly belittling me and acting as if I’m an idiot. I’m tired of having you take what I say about a show personally to the point of being petty and trying to garner sympathy from people on a different forum. I’m tired of you repeatedly quoting me and then crying about how I’m attacking you. I’m tired of YOU making yourself out to be the victim. I only wanted to bring it to dms to discuss this privately and not have an entire community see this nor get involved. That’s what dms are for— so excuse me for trying to not flood everyone with petty arguments like this.
Holy moly, that escalated fast! It only took, what, 4 posts for that to become a fight! Is this a new record or something?! This is just great. It went from someone's idea to someone taking it as an attack, trying to calm them down, only to actually be attacked, and then strikes back. Wow. Just, wow. It's amazing. Majestical. Yes. Just, yes.

Valt totally could become evil in any series. Due to a series of misunderstandings and stuff, he could totally become a villain, if driven to do so by someone like Phi or Ashtem. Ashtem could just convince him to join the Requiem Project (the best name for any project ever) because Ashtem would just tell him something about how it would make his bey more powerful, and Valt, in his naivety, would blindly follow along.

Honestly, Evil Valt would totally be a great villain.
Honestly I feel Valt is the nicest character in burst and would never turn evil. Valt’s equivalent of an evil act would be putting the trash in the recycling, Lmao.

He- he put t-the t-t-trash in t-the r-r-r-recycling b-bin? Jeez, Valt is so despicable!

Out of the whole conversation I’ve only stated facts and my own perspective, in what ways were I condescending?
Routinely gettting mad at me for pointing out truths and actual facts when you bring up points that aren't true even though I use facts from the show, twisting everything I say into weird falsehoods, and getting increasily mad and angry at me whenver I ask one of your many questions by constantly misinterpretation everything I say even when I go through great lengths to explain it without being condensing.

I literally wanted a discussion with you with another perspective, I never painted myself out to be a victim.
We were having a conversation and I asked him to fix his grammer because he was trying to say something but the way he worded it made it increidbly hard to understand and analyze. I was going to continue and tell him no it wasn't a big deal, don't worry, but you and everyone jumped ship to talk about something else so I didn't want to bring it up. So thanks.

(Jun. 28, 2019 5:25 AM)Okanie Wrote: [ -> ]You could have just always said, oh! But I don’t agree so agree to disagree— that would have ended the conversation just fine.
You keep smacking down everything I say even when its an actual fact. My opinion isn't right but you've gotten increasingly snappy at me anything I use a fact and use in it a discussion. I said constantly before we can have different perceptions, that's what this whole community is about, but when I'm trying to help you and give you correctinformation, you slap it back in my face and make everything I say sound like a incomprehensible mess.

Not only that, you’ve also belittled me with the tone and wording you’ve used when I didn’t get the references you’ve had. Do you know how coincident that is? Do you know how insensitive that is?
My guidance counselor tells me "whatever helps you" as a motivator, my teachers use "whatever helps you" all the time whenever we need tips or advice or backup from other people or materials, I used it because what you said was a smart argument but I also adding there was some faulty logic in there. You could've just asked me what I meant instead of getting in a hissy fit and saying I'm trying to attack your opinion. And for context, you said the Cho Z ending felt abrupt, I said true, but it wasn't meant to be the finale of the series. Look over the texts.

(Jun. 28, 2019 5:25 AM)Okanie Wrote: [ -> ]You literally brought up hints of our conversation from another forum because you were upset that you weren’t getting your way.
What way, my point was don't be a jerk to other people just because they have a different opinion or introducing a topic that's ultimately harmless and open for civil debate. You jumped on the bandwagon and masqueraded it as a joke when you could've just said "it doesn't really sound like a possibility, but if it was cool", not "hey, so many people say this so they don't know what the character's like at all". You're saying I don't respect opinions when you're further from your own accusations.

A) I quote people because I'm specifically talking to them. A few weeks ago, two conversations got mixed up when I was replying to one, and someone else got mad that they got it thinking it was meant for them? You know what I did, apologized, promised I'd wouldn't do the mistake again, and properly started quoting the specific points I wanted to talk to people about and the specific parts of what I want to talk about with it. Including you. How do you respond? "That makes no sense", "you're noting using facts" "I don't comprehend"....when I can understand you just fine enough.

People see things differently, I agree, doesn't mean I have to be rude or condensing to them, and I don't have that tone unless I'm trying to give someone an accurate truth, not my opinion. If someone gets something that's not true, I won't lie or belittle them, I just tell them the truth. You may not have the tone, but your delivery says otherwise.

Well you did, and you probably will do it again. The sad part is we had a good conversation once and then it all went downhill.

I never acted like you were an idiot, I confused when you strarted treating me like one. I quote everyone because its the best way to reply to people, if you're personally attacked by that, sorry, that's not my intention but I'm not going to make things confusing for the sake of one person's benefit.
Don't be petty in general, its supposed to be a fun community, and clearly you don't want to have fun.
No. Valt has a strong resonance with valkyrie but he doesn't let it control him. He doesn't care about winning all the time like Aiga. He just likes to have fun battles.

Another evil act is something I get reminded of in the manga lol-- like him not washing his hands after using the bathroom. Valt at his most diabolical state! Rofl

It only became that way due to a misunderstanding and mentioning another conversation that didn't have anything to do with the topic of another forum. Getting quoted means you get notified so I've been notified constantly about this whole matter... But if I came off as attacking, by all means, I'm really sorry as that was not my intentions to the original post! I meant to merely point out that it'd be difficult for Valt to become evil because that'd be a complete 180 on his character and give my reasonings. I never tried to attack anyone in all honesty!

I won't bother reading nor striking back with the previous post that I was quoted in-- unless it's in dms, I intend to put the matter behind me and continue on with discussions as that is what this place is for!

Thanks, the idea was interesting and its not out of the realms of possibilities. We also discussed other character potentially having motivations to be evil or gain the dark resonance.

Or losing Valkyire...wait no that turns him into a zombie lol. That has to go down in one of Valt's funniest moments ever.
The sad...and funniest part is that there's a show where a character almost as nice as Valt got a ticket for not recycling and nearly got blown up by a bomb.

As long as the writers can implement well, it can work. Also communities are like soliders in a war throw away grenades before they can blow everyone up. Beyblade soliders...nah that's dumb.
Valt. Evil? HAHAHHAHAHHHHHAHAHHAHHHAAAAHAHAHAHHHAHHHAHAHHHHHHAUAAHUHAA. No. This idea is not very smart. Like someone said before, do you even know valt?
I think it’s just the idea of having a sweet character like him evil? Despite how much of a sweetie he is which gives off more of the appeal to an evil Valt idea. Canon-wise it’d be a far stretch to see him become like Aiga down the road— not only that but he’s a huge positive influence in the beyblade world in that verse and he’s not going to resort into something that almost messed up two people permanently... or three if we count Phi.

I say the idea is good for a fan fiction or alternate universe because it’s something interesting to look into— not canon-wise however...

If it happened in the show it would be boring. We already saw it happen already twice.
