I remember in the first couple of months my posts were terrible quality posts, and I was kinda bad at making stories, anyone remember when I first joined? (Or ‘The Legend Of Amaterious’) Now my posts are decent, I think, and I definitely think I improved my story writing and telling skills.

What’s your story?

Also sorry if this doesn’t need a thread but I think it does since it’s a bigger topic so feel free to close this or move it. :)

I remember that thread! In that thread there were two types of people: Those who said “Yes!” And those who said “No!” Smile

Yeah, it was pretty crazy

Yeah, the world’s worst ending.

I just read some of your first posts and they weren’t bad at all! Some of the really good ones from the first posts page is the Norman and Boa Birthday story stuff.

I just want to cry after seeing my old posts
I'm sure so many people are cringing at my questions since i'm new to Beys as well.

I think people are more happy that you’re getting into a hobby with your kids. Most parents at tournaments want to leave immediately. Smile
I definitely don't prefer how I was in my early days on the WBO over now, but what I did prefer was the more carefree attitude and reception of newer users on the site. I don't mean to say that the site is fixated on just competitive play, but its userbase seems to place greater emphasis on that now than back in late 2017/early 2018. I'm still unsure if I like that change or not, but for the most part, people are still pretty chill here so it works out just fine.
Before joining the wbo, I used to feel I was the only blader in the world since their was no one where I lived that had beyblades. But when I finally discovered the wbo, that feeling of loneliness faded away. I was still new and made posts that seem idiotically stupid compared to the ones I make now. To be a part of this organisation feels inexplicably good. The feeling that I got upon knowing that there are people out there that are just like me cannot be put into words and thus, in fact, is indescribable.
I remember when I got my first real PM. I was really excited. Now I just say: “Okay”
Back then I really didn't know a thing about Beyblades and their parts. Even though I had Beyblades during the Plastic era, I never really bothered to memorize the names of the Weight Disks, Blade Bases, etc. All I'd label them are as what they were as stock combos (best example is Driger S as well as Dranzer F). I played with them enough but never knew about how to use rubber tipped Beys.

Fast forward to more than 15 years, through this community I did enrich my Beyblade experience and am enjoying this hobby more than how I enjoyed Gunpla.
I used to be a bad blader but now I'm good. Yay
I was so cringy to be honest.

Oh man. I couldn’t care less about the rules back then. Before I knew that members of the WBO write wikia articles, if I discovered something on the wikia, I thought it was like the most rarest information on the planet. Now I know otherwise... My first ever post was me not knowing that you can skip to the latest post. So I posted a thread for Nemesis. Thinking I have some sacred information and god had sent me down to share this with the world.

I am actually really happy to see my growth in terms of communication. I learned communication here, maybe more than in school, haha. So thanks guys for helping me through the first few weeks to learn the ways of online communication! Especially the mods...

Ahh...Sieg was one of my favorites. That's why I never bought it.
