Full Version: Aiga's Return In Gachi?

Just want to hear your opinions on this as I'm sure everyone is wondering this same thing.

After watching the first episode of Gachi, the weirdest thing, (other then Drum using Air Knight Vertical Volcanic at the beginning, lol,) was that Aiga was nowhere to be found. If they don't bring back Aiga, I will personally be very surprised, let me explain why. Through Cho-Z, we followed Aiga's journey from the very beginning. I personally hated him at first, (and I still don't like his English dub voice, tbh.) However, his character really grew on me, I liked to see him hit rock bottom after being crushed by Phi, only to see him rise back up again with Cho-Z Achilles. I liked to see him become more humble and less rash after this incident. I liked to see him defeat Phi, and even though I really like Valt, there was even something satisfying about Aiga beating him and becoming World Champion. After being so invested in his journey, I would be quite disappointed if we don't see him in Gachi. Not to mention, it wouldn't make that much sense, like, if you became the world's #1 blader, would you just let yourself fade away from existence after your 15 seconds of fame?
He's probably going to come, just later in the season

Exactly, Shu was no longer the deuteragonist after god/evolution nor was he featured in the manga or anime poster yet he still appeared.
Yeah good point he's probably gonna come around in other eps tho.
I think Aiga come back, but in GT he is Final Boss, like Valt in Cho-Z.

this is one of the best things i read today.
i mean a pseudo balance type user vs a true balance type OP beast that Aiga was most of Cho-Z. damn you hyped me up for something that might not even be true.

I mean Balance types (despite Shu being the only one to be consistent with it in season 2) have some of the best battles so this should be fun.

No cursing in the community.

I feel Aiga IS going to return like I said in my previous posts on this topic (note: there has been topics about Aiga returning to GT. So I don't think there's a point on making a thread.) Anyways, why wouldn't the world champion return? If GT gets lots of support they might make another season on Drum's journey like Valt. GT might be like a beginner season for Drum just like Valt in Season 1. Then, they might move on to the second season (if possible, depending on how much support GT gets. But tbh I don't see another season happening. It would be cool to see another one tho.) and fight like the world tier bladers. [This is a PREDICTION, NOTHING Is true.] Also, is it me, or is Drum going to battle Valt in the future? If he wins, we do realize that he's the #2 world's strongest blader then. Aiga might return as a boss, challenger, mentor, those are the possible ways. I don't see him returning as an antagonist that will be repeat from the Dead Gran arc.
Aiga "might" return, if TT ever decides to make a GT Achilles. Although I did find it strange that in the beginning of GT, it was Valt who gave that speech when Drum arrives in Japan and not Aiga. The announcer also says "a message from a certain world champion", with said "certain world champion" being Valt, and that kinda confused me. Is it possible Valt reclaimed the top spot during the timeskip and Aiga is absent because he's gone training somewhere?

True True. But will just have to wait and see. It would be a repeat tho...
i think valt will probably have a battle with aiga later in the anime so he could reclaim his title.

Valt IS the champion in GT. It was confirmed in episode 1.

May I know where did you got this info? In the wiki it still states in the big 5, Aiga is leading the 5. (Note: The wiki has been up to date with GT info.)
