These people are volunteers who organize this out of their passion for the game. Not babysitters.

If your son is not independent enough to stay out of trouble, then you really shouldn't leaving him alone there.

You could do that. My parents dropped me off at an event or two when I was younger, but I think what @[KingSpin] is trying to say is that tournament staff and participants will not be responsible for him in your absence.

The Beyblade organizers and judges are awesome people who are running a tournament. That said, they will be busy, It's not a day care or babysitter, and they will not keep track of your child. If your 13 year old is well behaved enough that they will attend the tournament, enjoy the tournament, and remain at the tournament on their own, then I'm sure it will be fine. If you suspect your child may wander off, then don't drop them off and leave them unattended. No one will be keeping an eye on them, and you will have no grounds to complain if your child isn't at the tournament when you return to pick them up.
