My Long-Awaited Review on Beyblade Burst DB.
In my opinion, this was a horrible season to end the Beyblade Burst Anime Series at, we should've just gotten a BU Anime. Am I saying DB Is a bad season? No. I'm saying that it wasn't the best season to the end of Burst in. The Ending only focused on Bell and Rashad not the overall focus of the end of the anime. DB just seemed like a regular season until we got the news that it'd be the last season. I wish we got a season where Bell discovers the BU System and then around Episode 35 or 40 they start focusing on Beyblade Burst coming to an end and the current Legacy of all the Legends was ending and that the New Generation was going to lead Burst into the next generation. Again, DB wasn't exactly a bad season but it was a bad season to end Burst on. I feel like they could've made a BU Anime to end things off and focus more on the ending of the Burst Generation. Now onto the First and Second Arc.
Alright. The beginning of DB was pretty cool I ain't even gonna lie, Bell seemed like a Dark Main Character or seemed like he was a Brutal Blader but over the First Arc he developed and he didn't seem like a Bad Guy. Just a Regular Kid who loved Blading and wanted to become stronger. Though I feel like the Whole Season could've been better if Bell was an Evil Character and instead of a 10-Year-Old he was 13 which would've been really cool and he developed over time. But how he defeated Lui and how he continuously developed his Friendship and Rivalry with Ranzo Kiyama, it made it seem like he was a Cool Person and he was going to be a really cool Main Character. When they went to Spain, Bell developed even more by learning that the Legends are strong and if he wants to be able to keep up with them then he's gotta also become strong. The way he created F Gear and V Gear out of inspirations of Vanish Fafnir and Savior Valkyrie. Rashad was also pretty hyped up and seemed like the opposite of Bell and how he adored Valt made it feel like he was going to be a Strong Rival and Antagonist for Bell helping him develop. This Arc Receives an 8/10.
This Arc literally ruined DB. I don't care how they would do it or why just whoever said this was okay needs to look it over ten more times before he publishes it to us. I don't want to go into detail into this Ruined Arc so I'll sum it up as short as possible. Wakiya forces Bell and his friends to get on a Sketchy Airship that could potentially crash at any moment and they'll be in the sky 24/7 but nobody cares and they battle Legends oh wait, no they don't. Bell is a Self Centered Jerk so he's the only one battling the Legends like: Valt, Shu (WHY DID YOU WIN AGAINST SHU?!), Free, and Lui. He defeated all of them and now we get to the literal only good part. Rashad Vs. Bell (Perfect Gear). Basically, Rashed learns that he dislikes Bell for no good reason and breaks Perfect Gear Dynamite Belial forcing Bell to evolve it into Dangerous Belial. Let's agree that we never talk about the Dynamite Battle Tour ever again and move on to the Reign of the High King. (That's what I'm calling it). Bell hears that Rashad and Valt are going to battle so he goes in a White Van (Wait what?!) to go see the battle and Rashad shows off the Power of Greatest Raphael and he beats Valt with Greatest Breaker. Wakiya decides to have a Team Battle. Valt, Ranzo, and Bell Vs. Rashad, Ilya, and Basara. (BASARA YOU TRAITOR!!). Valt and Bell do some Training Rounds with Valt beating Bell continuously then Bell be like: Change Shoot Style? So he does an Unlocks his Burst Stopper and now is ready to face Basara... Except he only gets One Point and gets trashed by Two Spin Finishes. Then a Really Welly Animated Episode comes. Basara and Ilya Vs. Ranzo and Bell, Bell, and Ranzo's Friendship develop as they defeat Ilya and Basara and Bell gets his revenge. Then there is a Battle Royal where Basara, Ilya, and Rashad trash on the others. (Except it was actually pretty close). Bell and Valt both wanna battle Rashad in the Final Battle so Bell throws a tantrum and decides to leave the team but then comes back and say: Boi you better battle me right now. And Valt actually wins their battle but the intensity forces Valt to push Valkyrie causing it to take damage. Bell and his team invade Basara's Barbeque dressed up as Zombies and then Rashad and Bell become friends? Ugh. I hate how complicated this is. Anyways, Valt forces Valkyrie against its will to fight Rashad so they can have an Intense Battle. Valkyrie and Valt give it there all but thanks to a Direct Greatest Spear Savior Valkyrie has been shattered. Yeah yeah, we're all sad and crying, can we move on now? This Arc was actually pretty good but the PREVIOUS Arc. Severely brings these combined Arcs rating down. Like very down. I give it a 5/10. (An Extra Point out of sympathy).
This is the Final Arc in my 4 Paragraph Essay about Spinning Tops. This should be good for my Health. Anyways, Valt fixes his Valkyrie and turns it into the Ultimate Valkyrie based on the Valkyrie's from the past and it is kinda set up like One For All being passed on throughout the Generations. Anyways, after Valt has his Last Battle ever with Shu. *Crys* he challenges a 10-Year-Old Boy that thinks he's a Demon King but secretly just wants attention. After defeating him with ease, Bell be like: Hm. Since I had this Bonding Moment with Ranzo, I should base our Whole Friendship on Beyblade so I'll make a Launcher about this moment and successfully activates the All Might-- "It's Okay! I'm here everyone!! Now, where is Young Midoryia?" "Wrong Anime, All Might. " "Sorry, Young, Unseen!" Anyways, he can't control it and gets defeated by Valt. Now, we meet this new Blader with Pink Hair and a Phoenix Bey who completely destroys Bell and Basara (Oh, Ilya's there too.) Bell has another battle with Ranzo and their friendship develops again and also gives Bell some more moves. Bell wants to rematch Payne so he makes Perfect Gear Dangerous Belial and challenges him and learns why he doesn't like Rashad. *Sniffles* He called my Battling Style boring... *Cries* Worst Backstory ever. Bell battles Payne with Perfect Gear and ties with him. I kinda expected him to win. Finally, something new happened. Phenemno battles Rashad and loses and respects him and Rashad and goes on to live his life and we never see him again. Not even in the Finale. Now we have an Arc about Valt, Bell, and Rashad tournament. This should be interesting. Alright. In the first battle, Bell blows every Bey up in the Lower Deck and wins the Battle Royal and mainly just ignores Ranzo. The second Battle is pretty interesting, Rashad and Bell have it out for the first time in a single battle and it was pretty interesting. Bell did really good but barely fell short and wasn't able to defeat Rashad by a second. Next Battle, Valt trashes on Rashad and shows him that he's gotten stronger and that he is the World's #1 Blader. Also Raphael is actually also starting to get damage. (Revenge for what you did to Valt.) But before he battles Bell in the Final Round (Yes, Valt let Bell and Rashad battle it out). He actually repairs Raphael and prepares himself for a Battle of a lifetime with Bell. Bell talks to Belial in his sleep laughs. (Never get over how creepy that is). In the First Battle, Bell was actually really close and Belial actually went inside the Greatest Armor forcing Raphael to lose Stamina but Raphael slam dunks Belial into the Center Hole and knocks it out of the stadium. That was actually a pretty cool move I ain't even gonna lie. The Next and Final Episode is very welly animated and I love how the Avatars are Fighting and Clashing and Bell can actually fly in this episode. A weird way to end the series but the Battle was amazing and the Double Dangerous Dive Move was also really cool. We finally got the backstory on Bell and when he created Belial. The Way Belial burst Raphael was also pretty cool by leaping into the air and countering with Dangerous Bomber. I really liked how Valt encouraged them to keep going and give it their all and I loved the fact that the Aura stayed around Belial even after it landed out of the stadium. The Phenomeno Arc was pretty good except his Backstory and the Final Arc was really intensely beautiful. I give it a 7/10
Overall, DB wasn't the best season but it wasn't the worst either. I'd definitely rank it higher than Sparking and it had a lot of fun moments. I'm sad that this is the ending of Burst but all good things all have to come to an end right? Burst had its flaws and had many problems but it also had a lot of Good Things and I loved it for it. I'll always miss Burst and it'll always have a Special Place in my heart whenever I watch the Next Beyblade Generation. Hopefully, Beyblade continues, and Bell and all the other protagonists continue on the legacy of Beyblade and continue being Powerful Bladers. Burst was an Amazing Season and I'm sad to see it go but anyways, DB Wasn't the best but wasn't the worst either. I loved how Bell was and how determined he was to get stronger. DB was an okay season and overall in Finale, I give this season a 20/30. 10 Points behind but it wasn't as bad as Sparking. I hope Beyblade continues driving forward and that we get more Generations to come. *Single Tear* "Don't cry! I'm here--" "All Might!!!"
I hope some of you loved Burst as much as I did. I'm sad to see it go.
