Free is my favorite character. The former World Champion is my favorite blader because while he appears calm, even perpetually bored on the surface, he works extremely hard during training. He seems aloof but he actually cares a lot about his team. He is somewhat of a mentor to Valt in God and mentors to protagonists are automatically awesome. He scared a tiger off with his stare, something only done before by the Dragon Emperor himself. What we learnt recently from Morita further increases his awesomeness as it means even Lui was not close to his power level before God and he became the Champion at a very young age as he is the same age as Valt and gang and he has held the title for some time. Oh, and he loves to sleep and has a pet deer, so there's that.
I appreciate his arc in Evolution. He comes to understand by the end of the season that you can still enjoy the battle even if your not the victor and that winning isn't everything. He comes to appreciate his teammates more as well.
GT will broadcast on TV at May 29th 5:30 pm EST on Kids Station.

valt's my favorite character because he likes bread. i like bread. case closed.
ok so there is more to that
he basically introduced me to beyblade. i know that a lot of people got into beyblade through mfb but i got into it through burst haha.
i really liked his development throughout s1 to s5
dude couldn't even launch a beyblade correctly and now hes like the #1 legendÂ
i also really liked his happy, go lucky attitude

Just saying, you brought this on yourself. Even if I'm not the best at writing appreciation posts (I think I forgot what that even means), when I ramble, I ramble a lot. Welp, here goes:
My favorite character in the Beyblade Franchise is....
...Valt and Shu tied (you just
can't make me choose one of them, okay?)
Becauuuuuuse:
1- They were my introduction to Beyblade as a whole. Like Pixi said in her post above, I didn't get into the franchise through MFB, I got into it through of Burst. More specifically, by watching these two struggle through hardships and getting better and better, together. I wholeheartedly adore their friendship; that's literally what hooked me to the anime and got me to find out more about Beyblade in the first place. Plus, they're awesome Bladers and I love their Bey lines (See why I'm biased towards offensive Balance-types?)
2- I relate to both of them, in more ways than one. Happy-go-lucky characters like Valt give me inspiration to always start my day with a smile, to always see the glass half-full, and to be the best person I can be. Sure, I might get knocked down more than once, but I can't let that stop me from trying. Shu on the other hand is literally me, minus the happy front I put up and try to actually reach. Mostly reserved with new people, noticeably friendlier around my friends but still somewhat secretive about certain things, calm in most situations but also very passionate about the things I love, and very dedicated to said things. I do tend to screw up a lot, and admittedly it takes me a lot of time to accept failure more often than not. But hey, at least I do learn from those screw-ups and that helps me grow as a person.
3- Their character development, Valt's in particular, was very well done. Kid went from not knowing how to launch a Beyblade to becoming World Champion in the span of one year, that right there requires a lot of dedication and effort. And that's not to mention it was so much fun to follow his story from the start to the end, and even after the end. Shu was pretty good too, and I really loved how we got to explore so many sides of his personality, his passion and insecurities both made for great development and got me to like him a lot more than I expected.
Huh, I kinda thought I'd write more about this, guess I am that short on inspiration (goddammit exam season). Well, that's all I have to say, unless I remember anything else.

I echo a look of the things you mentioned, specifically Valt and Shu's friendship and rivalry and seeing Valt's journey over the course of those two seasons. His determination is one of the things I appreciate most about his character.
Man, after watching the subs for the finale of Sparking, it just makes me wish the rest of the season was that good. It was cool to see that Shu was forcing his way into Lean's battle style in order to get him to unlock his crimson flare which was apparently inside him all along? (questionable, but ok) Anyway, it was nice to know that Shu at least did something instead of just standing there looking and thinking about Lean. Also nice that they decided to actually designate a bit of strategy to this final, with Lean and Shu losing the first round due to bad teamwork, yet Spriggan took the full brunt of Twin Break Impact so Lucifer could possibly outspin Helios and Hyperion, but again, bad teamwork from Lean and Shu. Then Lean finally realizes that he has a partner he can trust other than Lucifer, which is Shu. All around nice to watch again along with the good visuals, but why did it have to happen all at once? The first hint of this was in episode 48, which was way too late imo. Not to mention that this still doesn't make flare a good concept at all. Man, if only this episode wasn't screwed up by half of the season.
1st Ranked Blader, Valt Aoi
2nd Ranked Blader, Shu Kurenai
3rd Ranked Blader, Aiger Akabane
4th Ranked Blader, Free De La Hoya
5th Ranked Blader, Lui Shirosagi
My favorite move animations for the members of the Big Five.
Hi guys. Bad news, I got two copyright strikes on my channel and I’m afraid that my channel gonna get terminated tomorrow if I get one more copyright takedown notice from ViacomCBS or Turner Sports...because of the copyright claims on the NCAA March Madness videos I did... I hope my channel doesn’t go down tomorrow... ;-;
Anyway, you guys like me to record Beyblade clips as well too? After I did so with the Pokémon clips?
Just a really random thought because I'm currently rewatching Requiem Project arc:
Requiem Spriggan scares me. Mr. Gilten (or theodore in the dub, maybe?) could probably have used Shu's blood or maybe some tiny tiny part of his body to make it.
It really made me went "what the frick" when I thought of this.
I wonder what will happen next season with bell, will he like food?

He is not a Beyblade protagonist if he doesn't like food.

Technically, all human beings like food to a certain extent. But honestly if he was like the previous protags, that would be hilarious combined with his edgelord persona (but still kinda overused).

If first impressions are anything to go by, I think Bell will be powerful but still a goof.

*Gingka* (Cough Cough Cough)
Possible difference being that Bell *might* be a bit of a bad guy, so more like Yu before he started losing.

1st?
Top 5: Kenta, Ryuga, Gingka, Yu, Tsubasa. It's funny that they're all introduced in Metal Fusion which is actually my least favorite of the 1st 3 MFB seasons.
