I don’t have problems with ships in general, but the fact that people ship free an adult, with valt who is a teen hurts my heart and soul.

Yeah and the effects are making weird things such as valt x crist In YouTube thumbnail which is so inappropriate for children
Theres like, a bunch of ships I have problems with but Id rather not say for obvious reasons. Clearly, I dont really like shipping for Burst because of this. The shipping community us terrible, and Burst is like in the middle (not as bad as we think, but not as good as we expect) so I really have no expectations. I think Ill just leave Burst the way it is and not depend on shipping to make it more enjoyable. Weird ships for Burst is already messing with my head. I think I lose hope for the fandom now, honestly

Speaking of which, I enjoyed Metal Fight and the original series’ fandoms somewhat better. They (the fangirls’ side of the fandom, too! Surprisingly, yeah) were a lot more mature and interesting than some parts of the Burst fandom. But really, I feel like Burst’s plot/setting/atmosphere/etc has to do something with the weird ships and certain part of the fandom’s contents and how that turned out
Is Ryuga dead in the manga

IIRC, he's still alive in the manga. He appeared in an extra chapter of Beyblade Zero-G's manga, where Sakyo wanted to follow the ways of the dragon clan and ended up battling Ryuga.

Yeah he is alive in the manga, but the Zero g manga was a total train wreck and was nothing like the anime whatsoever (I know that was out of nowhere but I always have the urge to say that lmao). In the anime Sakyo says a legendary blader gave him his bey mirroring how Zyro got Ifraid from Gingka (we know Ifraid is a zero g counterpart of Pegasus). After he says that a silhouette of Ryuga appears behind him (maybe that was a different scene but both of these events happened). Ryuga likely created Ronin Dragoon and passed it down to Sakyo and it would make sense too since Dragoon is to L drago as Ifraid is to Pegasus and Pegasus is the counterpart to L drago just as Ifraid is the counterpart to Dragoon.
Am I the only one that liked Zero G? Besides its relation with other seasons confusing and cluttered, I enjoyed it.

The Zero-G manga was kind of fun and had some elements I wished that they implemented into the anime, like Kite and Eight being snooty prep schoolers. It would've certainly given us a variety in scenery and given us something different, instead of the same boring BeyPark.

And for the record, I found the whole "Legendary Bladers passed on a Zero-G bey to the next generation" concept in the anime really hard to swallow. Why are Gingka and Ryuga just giving these random beys (supposedly the first Zero-G beys ever created) to two random little kids? Yeah, I know they had to find a way to pass down the torch to a new generation of protagonists but I personally just found the concept so... baffling. What if Zero or Sakyo actually grew up and turned out to be villains? I mean obviously they thankfully didn't, but I just thought it was kind of stupid on both Gingka's and Ryuga's part.

I thought it was just kind of average, I don't hate it quite as much as other people and I will admit that I have some nostalgic memories over it but it's still just kind of a so-so season for me. I do actually like the beys, the toyline and I thought there were some pretty cool ideas in the anime, a neat concept and I liked some of the characters. However, I think it's a flawed season that had a lot of wasted potential and could've been so much more but ended up with so little.

The thing is they seemingly received their beys from the legendary bladers when they were innocent kids and the kids were fans on them after all.

I prefer that more than Ryuga just being dead (he was my fav. and in any anime my fav somehow dies).

Yeah and I get that, but that still doesn't answer why Gingka and Ryuga gave it to both Zero/Zyro and Sakyo specifically. Like out of all of their fans, what even gave them the idea that those two candidates happen to be the ones who are the worthiest of passing their torch to and carrying on their legacy? I mean of course, they both did end up living up to the legacy of Gingka and Ryuga but that was just purely a coincidence.

Unless Gingka has some unknown ability where he can sense which one of the younger generation had the biggest heart and desire to live up to the legends, why would he just give Samurai Ifraid/Ifrit (whose bey origins in the anime are still completely unknown to this day BTW) to some random kid he happen to run into after the Nemesis Crisis? Gingka probably didn't know who Zero/Zyro was back in 4D, so why choose to give it to him? Was Zero/Zyro the only kid during the Nemesis Crisis who didn't hide from the destruction? We don't know, nor does the anime ever tell us why Gingka specifically chose him.

Whilst the Zero-G manga also didn't give us much info either, I feel like the way they handled it was a bit better. Instead of having Gingka giving some unknown bey to a random kid he found, Zyro saw the events of the Nemesis Crisis and decided that he would become stronger on his own, not have Gingka randomly go up to him specifically and tell him to get stronger. Plus, the manga was really goofy and lighthearted so it wasn't as glaring.

Well didn't Sakyo have some destructive aura or something (I cant remember well it was confusing) but his destructive side maybe made Ryuga take a liking to him and he just decided to give him one of his old beys cause why not. As for Zero its the thing in fiction where older protagonists pass on their stuff the current ones cause they can see their heroic spirit or whatever, pretty common cliche. Its still confusing writing though. Another thing to consider is maybe Pegasus and L Drago decided to go with the kids. Like they sensed their blader spirits and were drawn to them. The bladers wouldn't know but they would gravitate towards choosing those kids as their successors.

I honestly just think that they just kinds knew, like they could sense their blader spirit and see who they would become. At least that's what I think anyways.

They probably just saw it in them. Sometimes people can take one look at someone and their expression and know all about them.

I know it's just an anime trope and I'm not against Gingka passing on his legacy to someone else, I just find it odd that it's to some stranger he knows nothing about. It would just be hilariously ironic, had Zero/Zyro watched the battle between Gingka and Rago and was actually mesmerised by Rago's power instead of Gingka's heroism, thus wanting to lead to a dark path and become a villain haha. Obviously that never happened and Gingka was lucky he chose someone pure of heart.

It's probably the best explanation as to why they both chose them, because we never ever get a concrete reason behind it. Maybe being a Legendary Blader has it's perks, where they give the bladers the ability to sense other people's blader spirit lol.

Eh... I suppose so. That's as far as I'll accept it.
I just recently thought of this but don't you guys tired of seeing the same old same old cool character getting a spot light rather than just giving the spot light to the interesting ones like how ppl compaint that Fumiya isn't better than free but the truth imo I found fumiya more fun and fascinating than free because we all know that free always do what he does but Fumiya on the other hand he actually More complex than what we antically thought granted as a fafnir blader i do think that free is better but as a character i like fumiya more now I'll admit that free is cool and all of that stuff. If i were to be honest i never actually like shu in an extend because of his is overrated and that just make other fascinating characters in a season got underrated like valt in sparking like how they did more commercial for shu in the FUr campaign but i do still think overrated character such as ryuga and lean are fascinating imo

I agree, I've expressed several times that I prefer Fumiya as a character over Free. Sure, Fumiya was smug, cocky and made so many mistakes in his battles but that's what I liked about him. Plus, he was funny as hell and had his small arc with his sister, Ichika. He was very far from perfect, had tonnes of character flaws and was the first spin-stealing bey owner to not be OP and exploited the weaknesses that come with counterclockwise spin-stealing beys.

Yeah, Ryuga and Free had some flaws too but their near-perfect statuses as bladers outweighted any of that and it became boring to see them go "Oh well, I'll just pull this random technique and beat you easily with no struggles" ("Geist Counter" being one of Free's most uninteresting and lamest moves IMO). I understand that this is the reason why people love these two characters, but personally I found that their battles become pretty exhausting to watch after a while. For the record, I like Free and he was really cool in the Beyblade Burst God and was decent in Super King, but in Cho-Z I found him pretty average and sometimes boring (save for his battle against Phi, which I liked).

And I like Shu too, but he does steal a bit too much focus for my liking and his "grand" return in Super King wasn't particularly amazing either. It was cool, but nothing that made me go "Wow!".

Yeah I agreed with most but i do like ryuga more than other overrated character because he has a bond with kenta that made his character more realistic imo

And the shu part yeah his entrance wasn't anything boom like lui appearance in s1 or heck even free in s2 at first viewing it was like woah but if you rewatched it without the ost the shu entrance was just straight up Plane tbh
They only give shu a big role so they can make cash off Spriggan. Every kid is gonna be like “ if I have Spriggan I can be Shu” which will then tempt them to buy a 3 pack, customize set, whatever.

I would replace Hyuga and Hikaru with Shu and Free. Just my opinion.
