And these ideas/things would have made Metal Fury/4D peak imo:

(1) Toby and Zeo still owning Basalt Horogium and Flame Byxis.
(2) Kyoya's brother, Kakeru, making an appearance with his Beyblade, Divine Chimera.
(3) Helios making an appearance in the anime.
(4) Julius vs King; Battle of the Dual-Spin Beys.
(5) Ryuto interacting with Ryuga.
(6) Damian returning with some character development.
(7) Van and Crow (video game/manga characters) making an appearance in the anime.
(8) Kakeru, Dashan, Toby, Zeo, Helios, Ryuto, and Damian helping the main gang to fight against the Nemesis Bladers.
(9) Kakeru, Dashan, Toby, Zeo, Helios, Van, Crow, Ryuto, Benkei, Ryo, and Damian helping to the main gang in the final battle against Nemesis.

(10) Introduce Rago earlier in the season and give us one episode as a flashback to his past and how he came to be the Child of the Black Sun.

That's a really good one ngl. I feel this is one of the reasons why Ryuga was such a good antagonist; being introduced early in story and given a backstory. Rago might've been a cool antagonist but he kinda came out of nowhere late in the series. We don't even know his motive for destroying the world/ being a villain. At least with Ryuga, we knew that he trying to be the strongest blader in the world with L-Drago and wasn't interested in destroying the world until L-Drago possessed him (from what I remember). And also a funny thing about Rago is that in the manga, he came out of a meteor that landed on Earth and started causing chaos for no good reason lol.

Oh yeah I remember the manga version. I remember the army finding Rago and shooting missiles at him but he easily destroyed them. Rago has a cool personality but there is a lot missing from his overall character.
Here are my thoughts on each season of Burst.

Season 1 - Good
I like that they went for a more grounded setting. The overall narrative is boring, it’s just tournaments, but because of that you can get attached to the characters really easily. The arc they started built up with Shu was great, and I really enjoyed Lui an antagonist. Valt losing in the end is a fine idea to me, I just didn’t love the execution.

God - Excellent
This season is among my favorite Beyblade seasons along with G Revolution and others. Red Eye’s reveal was obvious, but the execution of it was wonderful. Shu’s character arc the concluded in this season was amazing. An antagonist with some actual character depth was very nice to see. I also think that Valt’s struggles, and how he overcame them, were portrayed well. However, lots of the new characters, aside from those at BC Sol did feel irrelevant. That’s definitely a step down from last season, and near the middle of the season God wasn’t very engaging to me.

Chozetsu - Ok
This is the biggest mixed bag among Burst for me. The ideas were pretty cool, but the execution was not. Resonance as a concept was neat, but at this point in Burst it didn’t actually add anything super interesting to the battles (other than egregious plot armor). I felt that every single new character, even if they were relevant, were very boring. Aiga’s evil arc was not engaging whatsoever, and also handled pretty terribly. On the flip side the Manga had so many good additions to the story that got cut, making this feel even worst due to the lost potential. The grand finale was okay, my same thoughts with Season 1’s also apply here. Aiga winning is fine, but the execution was not. Funny how in the manga, on both occasions the results were executed much better.

GT - Great
I can’t help but love this season. While a good chunk of the characters definitely need more screen time, the ones that got it are some of my favorites in the entire franchise. Arthur was enjoyable but fodder, however I found Gwyn to be a super engaging character. The only major issue I have was the pacing, though it’s most likely due to this being the first season with 10 minute episodes.

Sparking - Pretty Good
Watching this season while it was airing was a wild ride, but in hindsight, this season was very enjoyable. Despite returning characters that aren’t named Valt (and/or Shu) usually getting the short end of the stick, every Legend had a really good moment to shine. Due to the large amount of returning characters the Legends Festival was super exciting, though starting from there battle results could either be really good, or just wack. Flare was pretty cool, but I didn’t feel like Hikaru and Hyuga’s use of it was interesting compared to Lain. Regarding the elephant in the room, Laun was meh, but really started to get good during the final arc. His dynamic with Shu was amazing, and they both played on each others best aspects. The animation was also consistently incredible, more so than any other season (in my humble opinion). You can tell lots of passion was put into this season, but it didn’t always stick the landing.

DB - Good
The overall story of this season was ok, but noticeably not as interesting as previous ones. I’m kinda 50/50 on the overall roster this season presents, I really like some characters while others I didn’t care for. Bell was a nice change of pace, Basara’s arc was pretty good, and Rashad’s evolution throughout the series was great. Lots of the concepts felt kinda underwhelming, even though Sparking has massive faults it wasn’t afraid to experiment. DB was way more consistent, but felt pretty one note in the end, and didn’t leave that much of an impact on me in most aspects.

Also, just a quick opening ranking in terms of visuals and songs.
1. Chozetsu Muteki Blader
2. Clash! Dynamite Battle
3. Gatti ‘n’ Roll
4. Sparking Revolution
5. Evolution Burst
6. Burst Finish

I loved reading this and yeah I agree with everything except some small bits and what you said about Chouzetsu. I loved Chouzetsu with all the dynamics and parallels in the season. But yeah Burst is very well put out in the start than other shounens because you get right into a tournament while getting introduced to lots of new fun characters on the way.

Lmao fr I feel the same way. What are some ideas you had in mind?

Alright then, here are some my ideas:

(1) I would give Quadra a unique personality. She would have a backstory where she was bullied and clowned by her school for being the weakest blader. You know how Aiga and Gywn had talent with blading despite being noobs at it? Yeah, Quadra would be a talentless blader until she gets Disaster Pandora, a mysterious Bey that was locked into an ancient box. I would also make give Quadra a new character design and gave Disaster Pandora an intimidating design (both designs with a dark color scheme). I feel like this pay homage to the Greek myth of Pandora releasing all evils into the world by opening a box.

(2) Everybody would get their Takara Tomy Beys, not the Hasbro ones.

(3) During the show, Quadra slowly becomes a ruthless and wild individual, becoming the antagonist for a while. And while she becomes the antagonist, Bell (deuteragonist) would be the protagonist until he destroys Pandora, freeing Quadra from its influence. Then, Quadra would get a redemption arc with a new Bey.

(4) Pax would be the main antagonist by manipulating Quadra and events in the story. He would also be the reason why Quadra got Pandora in the first place. His Bey would be Ambush Nyddhog but it would be an Attack-Type.

1. Seems pretty cool. I'm on board with that idea. And it gives us a good reference to the actual mythology of Pandora.

2. That's not happening.

3. Hmm we've seen this happen before with Aiga but I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

4. Pax would be cool as the villain but it would be even better if Asthem came in and he paid Pax to research Pandora.

Honestly one of my ideas would be that Theodore Glass comes back and he was actually the mastermind of wanting to have Pandora. And he reveals that making Spriggan Requiem was just a test prototype and that getting Pandora and it's immeasurable power was his ultimate goal to have control of all the Beys in the world.

Also I would love to have a lot of character parallels in the story. I want some deep complex writing in this season.

(1) I  would give Quadra a unique personality. This she would have a backstory where he was bullied and clowned by his school for being the weakest blader. I feel like this pay homage to the Greek myth of Pandora releasing all the evil into evils into the world by opening a box.

They seriously need to bring him back they literally set him up to return
I wonder why they never resolved the rivalry between Lui and Valt from season 1. Valt never beat him, not even once.

Not gonna lie that's sad. Valt is obviously stronger but him never beating Lui strikes a nerve to Valt fans. Shu beat him, Free beat him, even Bell beat him. Who knows, maybe outside of the show Valt actually beat Lui.

Yeah, they never resolved that. It was like, Valt was never meant to beat him, it sucks.

(9) Kakeru, Dashan, Toby, Zeo, Helios, Van, Crow, Ryuto, Benkei, Ryo, and Damian helping the main gang in the final battle against Nemesis.

True! I mean, I remember back we were all glad the anime was over -thanks to the sudden 11/15 minute format and dragging the endfight on longer then it should have- they sure missed out on some really good ideas. In retroperspective, sad the anime was send of in that way.

We also never got a proper battle between Free and Shu

Well, Shu beat him in Sparking.

Shu beat the team of Free and Silas with the main Antagonist of the series. He was pretty much guaranteed to win due to the antagonist never losing until the final episode.

Shu beat Free alone, and Lane beat Sisco. It's not the same as when Lui and Drum ganged up on Valt.

If you count the win that was GUARANTEED to happen. I'm sure there aren't many people that count that match as the Free versus Shu of Burst.

The match was not a proper match but it is similar to Free beating Shu offscreen back in God so their 50/50 in that aspect. About a guarentee win thats not really true at the end of the day shu still could've lost in that indivual fight, but Lain solo both that win wouldnt be shu's but Lain's individualy.

I agree.

I agree too. But let's break down all Valt and Lui battles.
Season 1.
Valt vs Lui in the team tournament, Lui sweeps Valt easily.
Valt vs Lui in the finals, Valt beats Lui and is about to win but bursts because of the crack in the stadium. Lui wins.
.
Season 2
Valt battles Lui, God Valkyrie vs Nightmare Longinus. Lui wins easily.
.
Season 3
Valt battles Lui in the title match, no outcome. No one wins.
.
Season 5
Valt and Hyuga vs Lui and Free, Valt is the first to lose the battle while Hyuga solos Free and Lui. I'm giving Lui this one.
Valt and Rantaro vs Lui and Drum, Longinus beats Valkyrie with raging upper, and Lui wins again.

So yeah, Valt pretty much can't beat Lui, Longinus pretty much counters Valkyrie

Of course Valt can beat Lui. When Valt became Champion he pretty much surpassed him.

Their title match ended in a no contest ruling. But we saw in the battle that Valt is absolutely capable of bursting Luinor.

In their tag battle it turned into a 2v1. Dragon destabilized Valtryek from behind which left it susceptible to Luinor's Raid Upper. Those battles had context to them.

You can still be the best at something and lose to others. Valt almost lost to Aiger in his first battle.

He didn't lose. He gave Hyuga a boost to knock them out. Without it, Hyuga wouldn't have been able to take them out.

I Am going to have to agree with Darkus on that one being the best doesn't equal not being able to win a certain opponet, its not because he or she is weaker it can be a matter of compatibility & Match up but doesnt mean that he or she isnt stronger. In example would be lets say a Martian manhunter fights Firestorm but Firestorm comes out on top it wouldnt be because Firestorm is stronger but because martial manhunter has fire weakness (its in his head) or another one would superman fighting a human who's full armored with a kryptonite Suit his going to lose that fight but because his weaker but cause its a bad match up for him. That happens in fiction with alot of characters
