Full Version: How to beat the Phoenix beyblades

I have a rival who has revive Phoenix, and I can never win against it. Is there any beyblade, stock combo or otherwise that can beat Phoenix? If you can find a way to beat the other Phoenix beyblades, please let me know.
It's a defense type. It's good, but it can be defeated.

Hasbro's Balkesh B3 10Lift (Wide side down) Bearing will spin steal, and generally stops briefly after Perfect Phoenix does.
Hell Salamander 10Cr Atomic will generally outspin it or otherwise deflect it. Pick a better stamina tip if you want.

The classic solution for beating a defense type is to outstamina it. So outstamina it.

Is there a strat I can use that will help me win?
No? There are Parts you can use that will help you win.
Don’t use any opposite spinning tops. The mechanism locks in that direction.
Sure, you'll still have the armor ring to deal with with opposite spin, but you can outspin it. If you're trying to out-attack a Phoenix, you'll have a hard time. Take away its ring and you just have a circular stamina opponent that is still decently beefy.

Are galaxy Zeus and hasbro caynox good ideas as well? Also are there launcher setups that will help the beyblades you listed? Btw do you mean hasbro lift?
Both of those are right spin and in some cases a lot lighter than Phoenix. I didn't suggest those, they'll just get beaten.

Doesnt matter, hasbro and tt lift are the same. dC3.7F.Br may have a chance. Not sure about gZ though.

In opposite spin, both beys "lock"...so how in the world is left spin bad?

Definitely try Hasbro Caynox. It can out spin my Archer Hercules, which I’m quite sure has better stamina than Revive Phoenix.

I never said it wasn’t bad. Also, the “locking” mechanism I was referring to was the armor. When the armor is spun in the direction it locks in, its much less likely to come off.
You don't want the Phoenix Armor to come off, because when it does, that just increases its stamina and lowers its durability. Plus, now you have to content with the armor ring, which if it lands in the beystadium, can be bumped into by the drivers of your bey.

Unless you're trying to attack down the Phoenix with ChoZ Achilles or ChoZ Valkyrie or Dead Hades, removing the ring is probably the worst thing you can do. Definitely continue to rely on opposite spin out-stamina.

Let me clarify: I have actual proof of opposite spin combos working in a tournament, having beaten Revive and Perfect Phoenix (not always, but several times) at a recent tournament with Balkesh B3 10Lift Bearing, and Hell Salamander 10Cross Atomic. If you have Actual Proof that these wins did not happen, or more to the point, evidence that same spin combos beat a Phoenix, by all means, show us.
