Hi, I was born in Puerto Rico, but I live in New Jersey. If you play with Takara Tomy Beyblades (Japanese Brand with high quality Beys), you might want to get the Cho-Z 3-on-3 set (Good parts in general), Cho-Z Achilles 00 Dimension (Best launcher, heaviest disc to date, and a layer with burst stoppers), and Archer Hercules (The layer and driver are amazing for Stamina) to start getting competitive. If you use Hasbro Beyblades (the ones that you can buy in stores in Puerto Rico, the US, etc. with lower quality but better prices), I would recommend getting the Dual Threat Launcher, Legend Spryzen S3, Xcalius X3, Balkesh B3 (might not be released over there yet), and Caynox C3. To start making tournaments, try to get at least 4 people in Puerto Rico to confirm a date that they can make the tournament on, and then take the Organizer's Quiz. Maybe start with Hasbro Beyblades, since those are easier to get in PR, but you have to search the Hasbro Format rules so you know what can and cannot be used. Also, you NEED a B-09 Beystadium from Takara Tomy for tournaments, since it is perfect for every type
To take an Organizer quiz you must be ovr 13 and have over 50 posts on WBO.
