=Energy Layer - Quasar Zeus=
Zeus Z5, known as Quasar Zeus in japan, is an Energy Layer released as a part of the Burst System, as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It debuted with the release of the B-(no.) Booster Quasar Zeus, Event, Horizon on March 20, 2019.

=Description=
Quasar Zeus is a right-spin Stamina type Energy Layer that features 4 large blades, producing an overall rounded square design, as well as a face in its center meant to represent its Japanese namesake; Zeus, the god of thunder in Greek Mythology. As part of the Cho-Z layer system, Quasar Zeus features metal in its design; in this case concentrated towards the center on 2 of the 4 blades, with the remaining 2 blades being somewhat hollow to accommodate one of Quasar Zeus's gimmicks. Similar to its predecessors Galaxy Zeus and Zillion Zeus, Quasar Zeus features a total of 8 metal balls on tracks.

Quasar Zeus is also capable of changing between 2 modes via a mechanism similar to the Spriggan series of Energy layers.

In defense mode, a gate prevents the metal balls from running out to the edge of the layer via centripetal force. Thus keeping the weight highly centralized, this makes the combination difficult to destabilize with upper or smash attack oriented layers. However this sacrifices stamina and outward weight distribution that its predecessors are known for.

in Stamina mode the gates do not block the tracks, and due to centripetal force, the metal balls move outwards in the tracks In theory, this is meant to increase Outward Weight Distribution, Stamina, and stability. In practice, due to the increased number and weight of the balls and how much closer the tracks are to the edge of the Layer compared to its predecessor, Quasar Zeus's gimmick works as intended, giving Quasar Zeus Combinations longer spin times.

The Takara Tomy release of Quasar Zeus has moderately tall teeth and a recoil inducing square shape. The layer's inclusion of metal and large blades give the layer a high weight of 26 grams.

=Forge Disc - Event=
Event is a symmetrical circular disk with a metal core and low friction POM plastic perimeter making up the gimmick of the Disc.

For Event's Gimmick, the plastic is separate from the metal core allowing it to spin freely. This along with the plastic housing a large number of rubber sections, meant to absorb impact and reduce Burst risk from Disc-to-Layer contact. This free spinning perimeter can also provide an incredible length of life-after-death by creating a second point of contact with negligible stamina loss due to its free spinning nature.

Good. I like to do such things too!
You should be making Beys like this in a Make your own Beyblade thread, not on its own
