he was just giving examples, you have to do yours and say how that gimmick would work and what would happen to the meta
Maybe we can answer to those questions

What if Guardian Kerbeus had Hazard Kerbeus' gimmick? I think 1) It would be more Defensive. 2) Hazard Kerbeus would have its current gimmick, but with rubber in between the moving parts.

What if atomic, bearing, destroy, orbit, revolve and eternal didnt exist? That would be like changing the world of burst competitive. I think that would give more chances for attack to shine in the meta, with most lad based combos out of the window.
What if there was a moded format? There would be tons of different mods being used in the game to give it a twist. There would be certain mods banned, such as unburstable mods. Kevo would be world no. 1.
What If shelter Regulus was ChouZ Regulus?
When hard launched the Heads will lock outwards and prevent bursting. the claws works as normal.
This, plus the addition of metal, would make it competitive due to not having to worry about bursting. Fixing the layers main problem.

Regulus' shape is nowhere near aggressive nor defensive enough to work out even if it had better burst resistance. It'd be reminiscent of Vice Leopard, which also has a terrible shape for attacking or defending and wields an incredibly high burst resistance as its only advantage. Burst resistance alone wins nothing.
What if God and Super-Z beys all weighed as much as Basic and Dual layer beys? Would their new designs and gimmicks allow them to compete, or would the classics stand up and take them down? I'm actually curious to see what you guys think about that scenario.

My what if is what if there was a driver with a slightly wider RF style tip? It wouldn't be a drastic change in surface area, but it would be neat to see a widely available alternative to Xtreme.
Also, what if a rubber bearing driver existed (not Quest). It would be similar to the old Rubber Bearing Core (I hope that name is right), and would use the rubberized plastic of dF/gF in the most likely scenario, as the rubber used on most rubber tips as of now would wear too quickly.

Quest has no bearing in it, so it's not a bearing driver. It's one of many reasons why it sucks, to be honest.
The core you're referring to is Bearing Core 2, and there's a reason why it was the strongest Defense and Stamina core around. It has incredible defensive grip and similar levels of Stamina as Bearing Core. If it was released for Burst it would instantly give Attack types some serious trouble unless we found a way to make Upper Attack work out in Super-Z.
