As I'm guessing most people who don't live under a rock will know, the A-Team is being remade as a movie, which quite frankly looks completely and utterly ridiculous.
The trailer shows a plane being blown up, out of which falls a tank with a parachute attached, which they then proceed to climb out of and on to a mounted gun turret which they then fire at another plane.
I think we can all see where this is going, it's completely and utterly bat carp mental, but is that necessarily a bad thing?
The original A-Team was one of the most outrageously over the top series in creation, but does that still work in modern film?
I can see this being naught but another half baked Dukes of Hazzard or G.I. Joe, but what do you think?
I don't think this movie will do that great. The original A-Team was entertaining because it had unique over the top characters as well (Mr. T).

Over the top action can still be popular or funny if the actors really 'fit' the ridiculous plot. The new(ish) Rambo was entertaining because it had Stallone, and people can accept to see a really tanked Stallone take out an entire country. Black Dynamite was funny because he just 'fit' the role. I don't see this happening with the new A-Team. It's gonna suck harder than Wyborg.
It has Bradley Cooper in it.

That's really all I care about.
