I was watching a video on drain fafnir and how the nothing driver works, and in the video the guy said that if it’s used too much, it can wear out the spring and cause more bursts. So I was wondering if this was true, not just for fafnir. What I mean is if the spring in the driver that causes the burst can wear out, and cause more bursts, and if so how and why and can I fix it?
Possibly, but it would have to be used likely very, very, heavily.

Theoretically, yes. But it would take a lot of use.
just like pretty much everything that exists, the springs in drivers will wear out over time. You can mitigate this by keeping your beys disassembled when not in use. However, I believe that it would take quite a while for the springs to wear out with normal use. If anything, I think the teeth on the drivers/layers would be the first to go, and since hasbro parts don't have teeth, it'll likely just be the driver teeth that would wear out with use.
That all being said, plastic is pretty resilient stuff all things considered. It'll likely be years before the wear gets to the point of actually being noticeable.
