My longinus and storm spriggan have A3 printed on the back , victory valkriye and kaiser have A4 , obelisk has A2 and my zeus doesn't even have a code
So do these numbers make any difference?

(Aug. 17, 2018  8:56 AM)Kevo Wrote: [ -> ]While I do believe part variation does exist, I don't believe TT intentionally made "A3" better than "A4" or whatever. For example, a Japanese beytuber claimed A3 was the tightest mould of hK but mine is an A2. Same applies to the "A mould" god chip and whatnot.

Wait, I did a quick search about mold variations, A1 - A2

Exactly this. It's not a sure A1 > A2 > A3 > A4 thing. If there are better molds than others, it's by accident, so the number is just a way to identify it.

On top of that, we need to gather multiple reports to confirm that certain molds are better than others, because it could just be that other differences get introduced. (Variances within mold versions themselves, damage that occurs during the process, etc.)

So one person's claim isn't a lot of weight, multiple confirmations would be better proof.

As stated by Frostic Fox, Kevo and  kidwhoaskalot, they don't seem to make any difference. Maybe these different numbers were made so that you can differentiate your parts from other? And you have made 2 threads for the same.
@[Frostic Fox], please close one of them? Or maybe merge it with the Mold Variations thread?
My one zeus has a2 and a4, the other one is a3 both on inner and outer layer.

But Out of all beys i have seen and compared to mine, I never found any difference.

Maybe, my A4 mold V2 broke more easily than A1 mold V2.
I'm moving this to Q&A. Please mark the thread as "Answered" once you feel the question is answered.

But basically, the mold numbers are there to show where the parts came from. (Like in the US, if your coin might have a letter like D or  P to indicate where it was minted.) The numbers could refer to different factories, machines, who knows. I can't seem to find any info on what might be the common practice for toys.

We do know there's differences at times. but I think most of the time, people don't notice a thing.
