Everybody says R3 sucks cause it has bad slopes. Well, i have a Jinnius J3 (please don't tell me it's a strong layer :) ) and just wanted to try if i could improve it with other combos. J3/4g/x wasn't nothing loose compared to its original combo (just a stand spinning test, i'm not that crazy). So, the shape of R3 is awful for defense purposes but looks quite good for attack style (at least to me). I think the main problem is the weak performance tip (and its springs) which comes with Regulus (it wouldn't be the first time a layer is paired with an awful disc or pt). What do you think about R3/5g/x? I don't have it, or i would have tried by myself...

I don’t know about Regulas for attack, but once Regulas switches to defense mode, it is almost unburstable.
Regulus isn’t as good as other switchstrike beys. All of the other wave 4 switchstrike beys are much better than regulus
Regulus R3 has reasonable slopes. Roktavor R3 has bad slopes. Try Regulus R3.0S.Br. It has good stamina and enough burst resistance to survive until it goes into defense mode.

Ok! So it's not good for mobile attack? Maybe the Lions heads when extended increase the chances of a self-burst?

NO , the lion heads increase the recoil rate , after some time ( in battle ) , the defence mode gets activated and this causes the bey to have better burst resistance than its previous counterpart !!!
