The stars exist solely to help you distinguish your Discs from your opponent's. There's no correlation between the number of them on a Disc and its weight or balance.

Yeah, they're mostly aesthetic, so they don't affect anything.

I read on some other thread on this site that the 4 star discs are sought-after as they have the best balance.
Anyone done a literal test varying only the number of stars on a disc, to see if this is actually true?
I had a Triple disc with 4 stars which did seem to be better than my other 2 Triple discs using 2 identical Odax 02 layers with Extreme when swapping parts vs each other. This was before I had read about 4 star discs. My 4 Star Yell disk seemed to perform better every time, than my 3 star Polish disc did, before I got rid of the bey that came with Polish.
