Simple question; anyone notice the stars molded on the weight rings, are they there to make them off balance?
The stars exist solely to help you distinguish your Discs from your opponent's. There's no correlation between the number of them on a Disc and its weight or balance.
Wait, so there are different variations of the star locations on the rings? Interesting.
Yeah, they're mostly aesthetic, so they don't affect anything.

They (barely) increase weight, and aren't the stickers for that sole purpose?
I read on some other thread on this site that the 4 star discs are sought-after as they have the best balance.

Anyone done a literal test varying only the number of stars on a disc, to see if this is actually true?

I had a Triple disc with 4 stars which did seem to be better than my other 2 Triple discs using 2 identical Odax 02 layers with Extreme when swapping parts vs each other. This was before I had read about 4 star discs. My 4 Star Yell disk seemed to perform better every time, than my 3 star Polish disc did, before I got rid of the bey that came with Polish.
