What makes an energy ring and spin track attack, defense, or stamina?
I see how fusion wheels and performance tips are because of how they obviously affect performance.

Two words : THEIR DESIGN ( design makes all clearance for the beyblade to be attack , stamina , or defence )
Weight Destribution- Attack and atmina types have higher weight outside, defence type have weight in center
Contact poin- Attack types are agressive in design with Big contact points, Defence are round, Stamona stands in between
Mobilty- TT refers mobile beys as Stamina, semi mobile as defence, and Mobile as attack, in reality these speeds are caused by drivers by their types only, no matter what we call them, Like defence layer on attack tip will be an attack type, even being called mobile defence.
many others.......................
I think it has been covered for the most part, but I thought that I would just add my 2 cents.

Weight is very important for attack and Defense types. For Stamina types, you want outward weight distribution. For Stamina, energy rings like Jupiter, Cancer and Aquario are best.

For Defense, bull and Cygnus are best.

In terms of spin tracks F230, E230 and TH170 are great stamina wise.

For attack types, GB145 and CH120 is best.

For Defense, any heavy spin track is good
