It seems legit, but it feels fake because of the price, then again, the ratings are pretty good so I would buy it

Normally when the price is that low and it only has 5 star ratings it is fake, so I don’t recommend buying it

It screams scam to me. That is too good to be true, and all their feedback is from more than a year ago. None recent.

Buy at your own risk. I wouldn't, unless I was curious and OK with possibly losing $6.

They cost $9 in Japan. It would be a complicated situation to get them cheaply legitly, like a gift or something. A scam is far more likely.

Yup, they aren't using their own images and writing for the listing. This one from Hong Kong has the exact same, so the scam radar is really going off.

A person who hasn't sold anything in over a year happens to get over 10 Salamanders to sell for less than they go for in Japan but was also lazy and broke eBay rules by using someone else's listing stuff? Yeah, that doesn't sound legit.

I went for it. I'm aware it's most likely a fake but 6 bucks is cheap and I don't mind gambling a little lol. I'll update here in about a week when it arrives.

I also found some super cheap chou zetsu beys out of China on ebay, it was limited to two per customer and had pictures of the proper packages so hopefully those aren't fake too, but probably are lol.

Hmm, with eBay's protection, you should be able to get your money back if they scam you. Might take some effort, but it could get them pulled off eBay and not able to scam anyone else.

Looks like they sold out of their 40+ Salamanders, guess we'll see what happens.

It's a scam. Anything below 80% of MSRP is a scam. Must I repeat this on every scam thread? I suppose I must. Forever and ever...

* The good ratings are all from over a year ago. (Sans a brand new one for hS from someone with a 0 history, so I'm suspicious.)
* The pictures were copied/stolen from another listing, as was the text content of the listing itself. This is against eBay's rules, too.
* The seller is selling nothing else, and is now sold out of all 40+ hS that they happened to have all of a sudden.

Like, they can hope it was a lazy seller who doesn't care about eBay rules and was gifted a box of hS and didn't know what to sell them for....but that is a stretch.

I mean, I hope for the best. But even if it's a good rare deal, the seller may not sell like this again. Because really, how would they be getting stock and making money?

I bought this for a friend from the same link. I think it's a fake though sadly. I have already asked the seller for a refund so hopefully I can get my friend a real Hell Salamander.

Well, its 75% a fake but the ratings are really good and he has many positive responses. So thanks to @[BuilderROB], we will get to know soon if it's a fake or legit.

Oh I see. I think it is fake too, but I hope it is real. I'm getting it first, so if it is fake I will have to buy a real one. Although the fake ones won't come in those nice see-through containers, right? They will be in boxes I think.

No, they come in proper boxes, and sometimes don't even come.
