This could be a combo hub for the new Hell Salamander.
Already thinking of a combo: hS 7Star Destroy
Defense mode: hS.5S.At/Br/R/Y/W
Attack mode: hS.0F.Z/T (Attack)/Zt (Stamina)/Ds
Wait, maybe the Nothing driver could work on it for an aB/dF counter!

Tilts too much, so it's just an easier target for spin stealing/LAD combos. It also stays at the center, which is terrible because most spin stealers are stamina/defense types.

Hell Salamander is a Left Spin Bey, so it won't have much of a problem. The Nothing driver actually moves around a bit and works well even on Sieg Xcalibur and Winning Valkyrie to knock out and burst Spin Steal combos even at a full power launch, so that isn't much of a problem anyway. Plus, until Level Chips become more easily accessible, the Nothing Driver is the only good stationary option!

Until Nothing Break happens. (that's when Nothing goes down and starts going Way faster)

EDIT: And yeah, that does happen IRL. Check out some of BBGs videos on dF...
I would say Hell Salamander 7bump nothing
Whoever has seen episode 8, we find out the the Operate driver has a Defense Mode with a normal ball tip and an attack mode with the ball being shifted slightly outward. We can have a great show with this driver.

1. The nothing driver tilts no matter what. Without level chips, it will be even more unbalanced. Level chips are just going to reduce the tilting by a bit. (Btw, Level chips are banned so you can't use them in tournaments. Also they cost around $150 just for one.)
2. It's acceleration will make it an easy target.
3. Really unstable, so it loses stamina quickly.
4. Two beys of the same spin direction can cancel out spin stealing, but because of it being unstable, tilting too much, and being aggressive will just make it lose stamina quicker.
For anyone that wanted to use stock combo Hell Salamander in tournaments, put a frame on the disc to make it legal.

But the weight and slight mobility could help it burst these beys easily! Also, Zeta wouldn't be such a good alternative with how easily it gets knocked off balance. Maybe Destroy would work better?

That's for the Hasbro version since it goes lower. Also, beyblades don't have that kind of weight to bring it down, even with the heaviest parts in the game.

This means that there are only two options: Making a mod for it, or breaking it and not being able to use it in tournaments.

We should all see how the blade modes work before real combos start popping up.

10 Bladed mode has more recoil, sort of like a left spin Dark Fusion Wheel from MFB. The 5 Bladed mode looks smoother than Alter Chronos and Ark Bahamut, making it seem REALLY defensive

Still. Wait until release for real ideas.

Oh wait Sorry. That lower price lowering thing is in the anime but IRL, the side of the Nothing touches the edge that is used for Flash Launches. (circles really fast).

I have a Drain Fafnir, I know what i'm talking about. There is barely any weight to the driver, and the mobility isn't that good. It's just a watered-down Revolve. As I said before, the stability is messed up by the tilting of the bey; creating low stamina.

That's the point of Zeta in stamina mode. It will grind against the stadium floor and go to attack, which is perfect for Defense mode of Hell Salamander. Destroy is like Zephyr, an attack driver with more stamina than normal attack tips. It is used in Mobile stamina combos and attack combos for that reason. but this is for the Defense combo, so that wouldn't work.

I also have Drain Fafnir. I even made a Testing video with Winning Valkyrie 6Vortex Nothing! Trust me, It doesn't sound like a good combo, but is can burst almost anything!

I can see how. Nothing’s shape and the contact points of the frame and layer provide massive smash attack, but this is a Hell Salamander thread.

I know, but Hell Salamander 7Star Nothing is the combo I'm going to make if I ever get the layer!

Equipment:
LR string launcher
Karabiner grip
B-09 stadium

Part variations:
2 different 0s, one had 4 stars and one had one star

hS (defense mode) 0B At vs Sr 0B Br
Launched alternatively. 0B swapped after 10 rounds.
hS: 13 wins (1 ko, 1 burst, 11 os)
Sr: 7 wins (7 os)

hS (attack mode) 0B At vs Sr 0B Br
Launched alternatively. 0B swapped after 10 rounds.
hS: 15 wins (1 ko, 5 burst, 9 os)
Sr: 7 wins (5 os)

Personally liked attack mode as it was hitting hard (with not much noticeable recoil) and it was osing by larger margins.

hS (attack mode) 0B At vs aB 0B At
10 rounds due to time constraints. Launched alternatively. 0B At swapped after 5 rounds.
hS: 6 wins (1 ko, 5 os)
aB: 4 wins (4 os)

Notes: used 0 as my average spin time for Sr 0 Br was longer than Sr 7 Br by 10 seconds.
hS.4C.At? the lower disk weight will bolster burst resistance while still being heavy enough to be relevant. The cross frame and atomic driver would help with LAD. Depending on the mode this can be seen as either defense or stationary attack.
10 Bladed mode has more recoil, sort of like a left spin Dark Fusion Wheel from MFB. The 5 Bladed mode looks smoother than Alter Chronos and Ark Bahamut, making it seem REALLY defensive

Yeah, but since its left spin, the 5 points will have more recoil and the 10 bladed one will have less because there are fewer gaps
