Alright, bladers, let's face it. The current String Launchers, albeit useful for more controlled launches, kinda lack in the power department and are more prone to breakage than other launchers. So here's an idea. Some of my blader friends and I are gonna try to build a better String Launcher (purely for fun, not for tournament use) and we could use some ideas. We shot some back and forth to each other but would like the help of our fellow bladers in making a better (and at least somewhat legal) String Launcher. None of that 30,000 RPM stuff that the BBG played with. We need actual, FUNCTIONAL and somewhat legal ideas here. So let us know what you think would work for a better launcher!
They're not fragile (the only one I broke just wore out after several years and can be fixed if I have the patience to clean the spring coil). As for power, not anymore. The current Beyblades are more than heavy enough to get the full use out of String Launchers

THICK fishing line instead of string(long, cheap and sturdy)
Fair enough, but I've had both of mine break within the first few months of having them.

You probably yank the string too hard
You can  but a better gear in it like a metal gear?
The TT String launchers are amazing, any and all string launchers have a learning curve as far as power goes, also, make sure you are pulling the string straight out in the direction it is pointing. IE if you have it horizontal dont pull the cord toward you.
Not sure if anyone else launches theirs this way, but I hold my string launcher handle differently. I sort of pinch it, so that when it reaches the end of the string, it's pulled out from between my thumb and fingers and it retracts itself. I like to think that it minimalizes the force exerted on the launcher and the string compared to if you held the handle like a normal ripcord.
^ This is the best way.

The problem with that suggestion is that if u pull it hard enough the line will snap, causing a broken launcher.
I mean the String Launcher the BBG had was basically the simplest form of custom String Launcher you could make. String attached to an axle connected to a big gear connected to a small gear. You could probably go with a less aggressive gear ratio. Without actually counting the gear teeth the BBG super string launcher looks like it has a 4:1 gear ratio (Small gear spins 4 times every time the big gear turns).
I will say that the gear multiplier was an amazing idea. I actually have an old plastic gen Left Launcher that uses a gear multiplier system. The string launchers would have much better power if it used a similar system.
