Is a looser, more freely spinning vl better than a stiff one?

Like hold the stiffer the better when it Is used for attack but a looser mold works better for spin equalization due to the precision. Though volcanic is taller than average so combined with the smaller radius compared to hold spin equalization would not be your best bet.
