Trying to make Variable wear out is going to take a long time knowing it’s a Hasbro rubber design, but when it finally ends up being fully worn out, I imagine Variable will make any Burst bey twirl around the stadium, creating intense force against any opponent. I do know all that takes is to hit the wall in order to do so, but I like those chances. Anyway, Variable aside, what are your experiences using a high speed performance tip and how did it turn out for you? Did it work out in your favour or did it become uncontrollable? Mine kept clashing into the walls and even the penalty pits at Variable stage 2, but at other times, it will kick back from the wall using Valtryek V2’s powerful wings to rush into the middle of the stadium.
What you are trying to do is easily done by using hold. Also Hasbro stadiums are disappointing bad. Try getting a tt stadium. Not only is it better but the bounce off the wall thing works a lot better. Though there is a line where speed stops improving power and just lowers control. Trust me I know. Variable becomes unusable once you reach the flat base of rubber. So much friction makes it too fast to use at all. Also at that point it would be called excessive wear and be against the rules to use at tournaments. If you want power and speed stick with xtreme. It is generally easy to control.

I know where you’re getting into, but I’m not exactly a tournament player. What I like to do is to see how powerful beyblades can be by simply traveling super fast. Faster beyblades possibly have more Burst priority and I believe I can still make a beyblade with Variable successfully hit the opponent’s beyblade in rapid speed. I’m not exactly here to make judgements about what performance tips would be useful in tournament play, I’m here so people could tell their experiences with a fast beyblade.

And Valtryek V2, V3 and V4 on my opinion can make hitting the walls a gimmick simply by kicking off of them to gain more speed. And speed is what I like most about them.
I have two variables so I true evolved one of them. It is too uncontrollable and even if you control it by the time it bounces off the wall and hits the opponent it is not spining fast enough to do a strong impact. It has extremely low stamina.

No matter about that now. I tried out hunter at the Hasbro which was supposed to have increased speed with softer rubber. Turns out that specific performance tip has immense turning speed (as in the ability to turn harder) as a result. Not good in a super hard launch but great with shooting directly into the bey spinning in the center multiple times at the beginning. Since Xtreme has even greater speed than Takara-Tomy but less control, I would still think Hunter is a relative(I don’t know what that means) choice for medium strength launchers.
