I don't have a lot of them, just wondering which disc is considered "best" and if any of them do things that are that much different from the other. I have 2 and 0 for defense. Any advantages or disadvantages to either? I plan to use Arc Bahamut, 2/0 (or another if recommended) bump, and atomic. Just wondering what other people think.
They are both good, but I think 0 is better.
Thanks for responding. Any reason why you think 0 is better?

0 and 7 are the best for basically everything.
Have a look in the winning combos section. You’ll see 0 and 7 spammed in every combo possible.
The reason? They’re the heaviest disks.

Wow you're right it's almost all 0 and 7. Thanks for that info. When is 0 over 7 better and vise versa?
It depends. Heavier bey means more stability, but would also result in greater impact when hit with opponent. If your Layer has very good teeth, such as Alter Chronos or Beat Kukulcan, 0 is better. But if your Layer’s teeth are not strong enough, such as Tornado Wyvern or Arc Bahamut, 2 might be a safer choice.
With Arc Bahamut, you actually want parts that increase Burst Risk because the teeth on the Layer are so weak, against a Right Spin Opponent the Arc Bahamut combination with retighten. So I say 0.
0, 7, 4, I have also seen 5 being used more often

Oh really? I have a hit frame that I was using with the 0 disc just now and I couldn't get it to stop bursting. Uncertain
I noticed with the hit frame when right spinning beys hit it clicks and bursts. If they would hit the layer then it may tighten but when I use hit usually the tip of the frame is hit and bursts it. I took the frame off all together and it survived much better. Though it is getting pushed around quite a bit and spins out.
what's your other frames?

I might be bit late but won't that can make aB unclick itself more too when it hits opponent?

Umm can you explain why you like 5? Some of my friends are also using it from Indian community.

Right now I only have bump, hit, and vortex for TT. I am getting glaive soon from getting Kreis Satan. As well as star and meteor I think? In the customize set I ordered.

I like 5 too. Can't explain, just like Uncertain
At Wikia there's a table with stats. It's said to be better in stamina than all others, might be that's why, I'm Metal series fan and I do like stamina most of all.

I guess you should stick to bump for the weight. but if you get glaive or star, use it, the LAD boost will be appreciated

Better than both of those is cross
Just be careful, Glaive has bad LAD in right spin. It's ok in left spin, but cross is better. I think you should use Glaive. If you get Cross, you should switch them out.

I don't have 5. I was just pointing out that 5 is being used more for defense combos in tournaments for whatever reason.

I think alongside 4 and 7, 5 has some of the best stamina out of all disks.
All the number Discs are great for defense (not disc 11 and up). 7 is the best though (pair it with glaive, cross, or bump).

Even if 0 weighs more, it has terrible stamina.

2 and 0 are what they have. Also, 7 is more burst resistant. With aB, you want to be able to lose clicks easier to unclick itself.

What do you mean by that?
So Ark Bahamut has a secret ability. It can tighten itself against a right spin bey. So, you want it to have really burst resistance parts so it does the tightening better.

Ah I see. So you think 7 is best so I don't get burst and glaive or cross if I get it. Is glaive/cross for burst resistance or just LAD? Right now I only have 0 and 2 hopefully I'll get 7. I know 0 is heavy and apparently bad with stamina, so 2 is the better option as well, without having 7?

No 0 I think is better. 0 I think is looser so it doesn't burst because of the secret gimmick. Glaive and Cross are for LAD. But just so you know, this is only for Ark Bahamut.
