Full Version: Cheapest ways to get top tier parts?

Money is something that a lot of people (including me) don’t have a lot of, and im not old enough yet to make money.
I would rly rly like to get the GCS, Sr, nL and other things, but that comes out to $140 AUD.
Yes, I do have that, but I can’t spend that much?
so is there a way to get most of the top tier parts like:
nL
Sr
dC
bump, meteor, other good frames
atomic
bearing
0 and 7 ( a few )
without paying so much??
easy wave 4 of hasbro beyblade burst evolution has amazing parts. only 55 usd on ee  comes with bearing nL destroy Sr 0
I guess you could try to buy them used? But since the parts are relatively recent and still considered highly competitive, that's a little difficult. People wouldn't want to part with them.

Honestly, your best bet if you want Takara-Tomy parts and you don't have the money to spend is to...be patient or get more money now. Because if there were cheaper options to legitly get new parts, others would be doing it. (That's why the God Customize Set is so awesome, so many good parts for the price. That's as good of a deal as it gets.)

You've got the list of where to buy from eBay sellers, that's what you have to work with. Beyblade is an expensive hobby if you're trying to keep up, and you kind of have to just accept that.

You are old enough to make money. Kids and young teens can best make money by doing odd jobs around the neighborhood. Adults often have tasks they don't want to do (like yard work) and there's almost always somebody who needs their kid babysat. A job is all about providing services that someone wants, whether you work for an employer or start your own business.

Otherwise, buy what you can afford and just wait until you have more money for the rest.
i’m willing to bet there is $140 worth is stuff around the house your dad/mom doesn’t want to do. but i wouldn’t expect those tasks to be easy or quickly accomplished.

are there rooms that need paint?

i don’t know how old you are, but a smart 10 year old can paint a room if shown how.

also welcome to the rest of your life :)

yeah, I’ve asked my parents already about this kind of neighbourhood work thing and they’ve told me to get back to studying. It’ll be about 6 months before I can work at Woolworths or maccas, which seems like a long time. Maybe I’ll ask them again some time soon, after i get all my test results back? Theyre going pretty good rn, 2/3 tests are As??

I wouldn't recommend Hasbro parts before anyone has had a chance to test them. Hasbro could have nerfed all of these parts based on how dominant they are in Takara Tomy's meta.

The hasbro versions of many top tier parts are all releasing in June (estimated by Entertainment Earth) so we'll see how those perform. Those will be way cheaper than going with Takara Tomy

Sounds good! It is important to keep your studies up. No matter what you do with your life, the ability to buckle down and learn goes a long way.

Like RedPanda2 said, maybe there is extra work around the house you can do (and since it's your house, you could stop and come back later easy). Or maybe if you only help people out 1 day a week or something. Just some ideas that might still fit in with keeping you on track with your studying.

You keep up the good work there!

Hasbro SST Wave 4 will have Hasbro versions of:
  • B-100 Spriggan Requiem 0 Zeta (Spryzen Requiem S3)
  • B-97 Nightmare Longinus Destroy (Luinor L3)
  • B-95 Shelter Regulus 5Star Tower (Regulus R3)
  • B-98 God Customize Set's Deep Chaos 4Flow Bearing (Cynox C3)

You'll still need to do some buying for Meteor (Cognite C3), 7, Cross (Green Fafnir F3), and Atomic (Wyvron W3) to meet the rest of your list. (Minus Bump, there is no Bump frame yet.) But if you want Hasbro, that's what you'd do.

Hasbro's are all cheaper if you can find them in store. My stores seem keen on being sold out, but maybe I don't check often enough. But it doesn't end up being much better if you have to buy the Beyblades online.

These prices are for me, including shipping:
  • TT: B-98 GCS ($50) + B-100 Sr ($32) + B-97 nL ($23) = $105 USD
  • Hasbro: EE Wave 4 ($65) + Cognite C3 ($26) + Green Fafnir F3 ($19) + Wyvron W3 ($29) = $139 USD for me at the moment, maybe dropping $10 or so depending on stock on eBay and Amazon

You'll have to do your own price research. You might have better luck finding Hasbro beys in store than I do. It's also safer to buy Hasbro beys off of Amazon compared to TT (since knock-offs clone the TT beys) and Amazon will sell the beys themselves in some cases (if they're not out of stock).

At the end of the day, do what you want and makes sense to you.

Yeah. I feel like going with Takara Tomy as the slopes on all of my Hasbro Beys have worn down ridiculously quick, and Hasbro Wave 2 hasn't even come to nearby stores TiredBut still, thanks for the great breakdown! Smile

No, they're $0 because mine don't have them.

As I said in what you quoted, that you likely missed in reading:

You can't even buy them off of Hasbro's own site. There is not enough stock.

So yeah, if you can find them in your stores, they will be cheaper. If not, no, they're really not any better to buy than TT in the price department. Not unless they're recent releases.

leosama here would have to buy much of their Hasbro pieces online, too, because Australia is behind on Switchstrike releases.
aB.8G.Br Does that sound like a good combo? I mean I feel like I should use 7, but should I?

I think you want the "Build me a combo!" thread. You'll get better results there than a thread asking about buying parts. You'll get all the right eyes on it there. :)
