I hear you. I’ve been more careful too as I was burned a couple times with other jp... accounts that weren’t the “real”one. I had one eBay transaction where I waited for a shipment on a God Remodel set that never came, and now the seller isn’t even registered on the platform anymore... I’m working on PayPal for a refund, but might be out on that one. I’ve done much more business on Amazon, but the deals aren’t typically as cheap. Amazon isn’t without fakes either. I received an obvious fake Alter Chronos a few weeks back...

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! It is HARD to find TT Super Zetsu for a cheap price, because people are literally scamming people. They put "Takara Tomy" in the name to get people's attention. You now have to look at the brand. The name most likely will not tell you anymore. Example of this garbage.
Well, this isn't exactly a how-to-spot-fakes thread. This thread, if you read the first post, actually lists where to get legit cheaply-priced Beyblades and gear. Because yeah, the scammers have upped their game on eBay.
If you simply buy from proven-trustworthy sellers thanks to the input of various WBO members and their experiences, you're good. It's unlikely that someone will sell realz then switch to fakes to fool people, and if they did, they'd be ripped off the list.
leosama's been awesome and has built this thread around people's experiences, and that's what makes it work.
So if you lack experience in judging eBay sellers, just buy straight out of this thread.

I'm probably going to make an official PSA on this, but the current market on eBay is FLOODED with fakes. It's become to the point where it's hard to determine a legitimate listing from a fake one. Not only that but even the fake companies are stepping up their game by releasing things at a much faster rate. I just saw fake hS and even rbv10.
The only way to save yourself from getting scammed is to buy from trusted sellers or try your luck with a new one that might potentially be a scam...
But one golden rule I always use is "If it's too good to be true, then it is". Point is people need to realize you won't find official products for the extremely cheap prices that these scammers are listing them at.

yeah, that’s why I can only trust a few sellers. I won’t put it up if they’re not trusted and we don’t have much experience with them, or otherwise the list would already be flooded with $4 beys haha ?

Yeah, I just had to reiterate what I’ve been trying to tell others for a while now yet there’s still people getting scammed all the time. The worse types of scams are the ones you mentioned where the entire listing is fake, they just take your money and you’re forced to request and refund. You would think eBay would be more on top of that but they’re still all over the site.

I'm from Australia too, and it's a complete pain to find TT beys, or even Hasbro releases. I've even resorted to using a freight forwarder (UStoOz) to purchase stuff from the US Hasbro store to ship it here.

Who did you buy it from?
Some launchers also break a lot and are imfamous for skipping and broken gears, like the Digital Sword Launcher and new LR Light Launcher. Some beys break launchers more than others, if they are very unbalanced.

From Pvc Expert it was a black LR launcher and my beyblade was only left spin and i had to buy a new one from another seller i waited 10 days for the next seller will buy from pvc i Think i should stick to string launchers and the part that broke was the ripcord and i could not find any replacement ripcords and i am doing fine at the momment.
