Thought it was weird that there was no thread for this series.

My favourite one is Lament Of Innocence for the PS2. I know it's one of those hated 3D Castlevania, but I just can't hate a game with Jamieson Price voicing anything(In this case, Walter Bernhard)

So, any of you like this series?
I played the Wii versoin of Judgement at my friend's house. Despite knowing nothing about the series, i think Grate is the most Epic thing in the history of epic things that act like they're the best thing since chocolate and carry a giant spiked ring.

Just saying.

EDIT: I just forgot whether or not it was actually called Castlevania Judgement or something else Judgement. So i just gotta ask, this is the series about the vampire hunters and stuffs, right?
It sure is, mostly the Belmont family ^^'
Alright, we're on the same page.
Did some research, and Grant DaNasty wasn't epic at all until judgement. Before then, he was a poorly sprited ape.

Haha the Judgement game manual LIED
My fav was without a doubt castlevania 2......LOL! Like that was possible. but i guess truly my fav was castlevania bloodlines.
Super Castlevania IV, or Symphony of the Night are my favourites.
It doesn't work like that, a favourite implies that there is only one XD

To me, Symphony of the night was better.
You're right, favourite does imply there is only one; which is why I used the word in plural form.

I suppose I liked IV better though.
My first Castelvania game was on the Nintendo Gameboy. It was Castlevania: The Adventure. It was alright but thinking about that game, I'm so glad gaming systems have gotten better.
Okay, I know that this is a very old thread, but I just got into Castlevania and by God I need to post about it.

So, I go onto YouTube and Egoraptor started off his new Sequelitis series with Castlevania vs Castlevania II. I was really intrigued, it looked really cool. He mentioned the Angry Video Game Nerd in his video, so I looked that one up too. He basically went through every Castlevania game. So I went online to a site and started playing Castlevania.

Holy. Carp. That game was so fun and addictive. But it, of course, was so hard. My mom kept hearing me yell, "Fudgebuckets! Pig turds! Butt sniffer!" Yeah, it was really hard, but still. Then, I go to one of my friends house and his dad collects old games. He told me that Super Castlevania IV was probably the best in the series. So he popped it in and let me play it.

I have never played such a fun game. That was amazing. So, I currently have not played Simon's Quest or Dracula's Curse, but it's on my list.

So yeah, that's my Castlevania story. Sorry for reviving this old thread, but I'd thought I'd share my love of Castlevania. Smile

BTW you can tell I like Castlevania from my sig. It's hard to see, click the spoiler underneath.
If you like the Castlevania games that much, you should try out Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, on the Playstation 1. Much like Super Castlevania IV, this one is also considered by many fans to be the best in the series and I'm one of them (Though it isn't my favourite game)

Believe me, there are a lot more awesome Castlevania games than just the original four on NES and SNES.
Man, sucks that my PS2 is broken. Crying But I will try to play it. It definitely looks cool, but I'm worried that I can't beat it because I could never beat Metroid. Uncertain
It's not as hard as Metroid and the music is much less boring, if you ask me XD
Well, I'll try it as soon as possible. I wish Konami would make Inkvania like in my sig XD.

I'm almost done with Super Castlevania IV, but I can't get past the last stretch of Part 1 of Dracula's Castle. UGGHHHH those retarded skeletons.
the old school castlevania games kick bum they dont make them like they used to Uncertain
I just got a Super Nintendo and Castlevania IV and MAN - I love it. I still need to play Symphony of the Night though...
I don't remember which castlevania it was, but basically you had the main character fight certain monsters to unlock treasures that unlocked special monsters that would fight for you. I remember there being a golem type and a harpy type. i miss that one
