Wedge is a Performance Tip released as part of the Burst System, as well as the God Layer System. It debuted with the release of the B-103 Booster Screw Trident 8Bump Wedge on February 24, 2018.

==Description==
Wedge features a tall sharp tip made of metal, akin to the Metal Sharp performance tip from Metal Fight Beyblade. When launched in the stadium, Wedge will create a stable stamina conserving spin. The stamina is further bolstered by the metal construction of the performance tip, which, combined with the low friction of the metal, increases the burst resistance of any combo using Wedge. These features grant Wedge high stamina potential, which would make it an excellent choice for stamina combos. However, Wedge has three major weaknesses that make it a huge risk in competetive play.

The first weakness is the metal construction of the tip. Although it gives it excellent endurance and burst resistance, the low friction of the metal makes it easy to knock out of the stadium. The second weakness is the weight distribution. Due to the relatively low positioning of the metal tip, the bulky size of the plastic base creates a top heavy design, making it instable and it increases the scrape risk. The final risk, and the most inportant one, is the height. The tall height means that the layer using Wedge is most liikely to be struck from an upward angle, which creates severe destabilization and furter increases the aformentioned scrape risk and knock out risk.

==Overall==
Wedge fetures great stamina and burst resistance, but is hindered by having low KO resistance, high scrape risk and instability from having a top heavy design, and high destabilization risk. Other tips hold comparable stamina while having greater advantages, such as Revolve having low destabilization risk, Orbit having greater KO resistance, and Atomic having greater procession, stamina, and being all in all more versatile. Due to all of these downfalls, Wedge is reccomended for collection purposes only.

The first weakness is the metal construction of the tip. Although it gives it excellent endurance and burst resistance, the low friction of the metal makes it easy to knock out of the stadium. The second weakness is the weight distribution. Due to the how much metal is used in the tip, it will focus more weight in a combination towards the center which will hamper Outward-Weight-Distribution and can potentially lower Stamina potential depending on the parts used.

==Overall==
Wedge features great stamina and burst resistance, but is hindered by having low Knock-Out resistance and a Centralized Weight-Distribution. Other tips hold comparable stamina while having greater advantages such as Orbit and Atomic having greater stability.

As such, Wedge is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to any blader's collection.

Wedge only looks taller, it's the same height as all other Drivers
Oh so it only has two weaknesses then I’m gonna edit that

Wait never mind
I don't know how much weights the metal part, but having a lower center of gravity gives the Bey more stability and more stamina

very true.  my b-103 shows up today, i can’t wait to try Wd with mG.0
i’m hoping to see less tipping compared to other mG combos.
fwiw, Wd is very hollow with thin walls.  i don’t have a scale but it’s not heavy.  the spring seems quite strong tho, similar to the spring in revolve, if not identical.

So it basically just is a metal Survive

However, Wedge has one major weakness that make it a huge risk in competitive play, the low friction metal.

Due to how little friction there is between the metal tip and the stadium floor, Wedge is liable to be both destabilized easily and easily Knocked-Out. While the Tip may seem to be comprised mostly of metal and thus heavy to create a stable low center of gravity, the metal in Wedge is in fact hollow which limits weight.

==Overall==
Wedge features great stamina and burst resistance, but is hindered by having low Knock-Out resistance and poor stability. Other tips hold comparable stamina while having greater advantages such as Orbit and Atomic having greater stability.

As such, Wedge is recommended for collection purposes only.

Quote:Wedge is a Performance Tip releases as part of the Burst System, as well as the God Layer System. it debuted with the release of the B-103 Booster Screw Trident 8Bump Wedge on February 24th, 2018.

==Description==
Wedge features a tall low angled cone shaped tip made of metal, akin to the Metal Sharp performance tip from Metal Fight Beyblade. The tip, although it seems extremely tall from one’s perspective, is actually at the standard height of all performance tips. When launched in the stadium, Wedge features a stable stamina conserving spin, which is further bolstered by the metal construction of the tip. Also, due to the low friction of the metal construction, Wedge has incredible burst resistance, which is further increased by the strong spring in the Takara Tomy release, which, combined with the high stamina, would make it an excellent choice for stamina customizations. However, Wedge has five major weaknesses that makes it a huge risk in competitive play.

The first weakness is the low friction of the tip. Although it gives Wedge excellent stamina and burst resistance, the low friction of the metal makes wedge liable to getting knocked out of the stamina.
The second weakness is the weight distribution. The design of Wedge focuses weight in the center, creating a centralized weight distribution, which reduces stamina by a significant amount. The third weakness is the design. Due to the bulky design of the plastic base, it creates a top heavy design, which creates instability and high scrape risk, which is further made dangerous by the aforementioned low friction of the metal. The fourth weakness is the tall metal tip. Due to the tall tip, Wedge is most likely to get struck from an upward angle, which causes severe destabilization, which is further made dangerous by the low friction of the metal and the top heavy design. The fifth and final weakness is the light weight, which makes Wedge ultimately useless.

==Overall==
Due all of these dangerous risks Wedge recommended for collection purposes only.

I made this on my phone and this took me 30 min and my phone was acting slow
Has there even been any proper testing of the Wedge Driver? I'm pretty sure that Wedge is not taller than any other driver.
wayyyy too early to call Wd “ultimately useless”

remember, we all got burned by the early aB hate...
I remember and yup I see how I shouldn’t call it ultimately useless
Several things, Wedge is not top heavy, not any more so than Gyro or Survive since It's still metal, just hollow. Second, the lighter weight from being hollow shouldn't effect OWD noticeably badly. Lastly. WEDGE IS NOT TALLER THAN OTHER DRIVERS

except aB is still not comparable to dF in performance...its not going to pop off instantaneously like you think it would, but dF is safer. aB is still cooler IMO, with better stock parts in their respective original releases, but dF as a layer is better...so...

There’s a reason why Ark Bahamut is in so many recent tournament winning combinations and not Drain Fafnir.

you might have missed my point.  when something seems instantly and blatantly bad, it may or may not just be misunderstood.

==Description==
Wedge features a tall low angled cone tip made of metal, akin to a combination of Survive and the Metal Sharp performance tip from Metal Fight Beyblade, that sits at a standard height. The Stamina of such shapes is further bolstered by the low friction of the metal which also theoretically increases the Burst resistance of any combo using Wedge. These features grant Wedge high Stamina potential, which would make it an excellent choice for Stamina combinations. However, Wedge has two major weakness that make it a huge risk in competitive play, the low friction of the metal and the weight distribution of the Tip itself.

Furthermore, Wedge itself is unbalanced which creates erratic movements that increases Burst risk and drains Stamina.

==Overall==
Due to Wedge's unbalanced nature and low friction sharp tip, it is outclassed by many other Performance Tips such as Orbit and Atomic for Stamina purposes.

As such, Wedge is recommended for collection purposes only.
