Ah yes I've been hearing about this a lot... I wish everyone for the best.
The thing about this bill is it would put a price tab on the first amendment in the USA. The first amendment guarantees freedom of speech, press, assembly, and petition. This includes on the internet.

to quote amendment I of the Bill of Rights, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Large corporations donate to your politicians so they run stuff like that. Because they have an agenda.
