Ok guys I need to know what beys to buy for my little boy so he can be competitive in tourneys. I'm a noob at this and can use all the help I can get. What's some of the hottest combos out right now. I need all the help I can ger.

Maximum Garuda, and the God Customize Set are good first options, as well as Legend Spriggan and Alter Chronos, and Seig Xcalibur.
Seig Xcalibur is better out of the box than Legend Spriggan, but both need some part-swapping.
The set has really good parts for it's time. Deep Chaos particularly, as well as Atomic.
I'd say buy your son: Legend Spriggan, Sieg Xcalibur, The Twin Nemesis booster, Dark Deathscthyer, Drain Fafnir, Nightmare Longinus, Random Booster Volume 6 with a confirmed Atomic driver, Alter Chronos and Blast Jinnius. For the combos read this thread:

Custom set has Atomic and dC, as well as dF. dC outclassed gK.
