I have a Zombie I've been working on for a competitive set, Drain Fafnir 4 Glaive Weight. It does amazing against all manner of beys, but I recently put it up against a stock Chaos Oval Gyro from the Triple Booster set featuring Nova Neptune and it just beats it every time. I've also noticed that its evolution Deep Chaos is totally an anti-left spin layer, taking on Arc Bahamut and Drain Fafnir and winning with no problems whatsoever. Has anyone even considered that these layers may be perfect for an anti-zombie custom?

Smooth Layers are always anti zombie, it's why Blaze Ragnaruk was good against Drain Fafnir

First of all, Atomic would be way better than Weight if you're aiming for a spin stealer/equalizer
Second of all, basic layer Chaos has horrible teeth and it's shape has 2 high recoil gaps that make it useless against pretty much anything
Lastly, you're right about Deep Chaos but since it released pretty recently not many have had the opportunity to consider it as an anti-zombie custom
I don't have Atomic yet, nor 7, which I'm waiting on from a friend. But surprisingly enough, the Chaos I used, as weak as its teeth are, it always ended up beating Fafnir. Especially when I launched it at half power. I think bladers are underestimating Chaos' potential.

Ha, @[Mitsu] would know XD
But Chaos literally can't do anything against the meta, it bursts to anything really
It may be able to resist equalization but it's too weak to be competitive
I am aware of Chaos' very rough run in the meta. I'm just saying, those who want to combat spin stealers should give Chaos a go, and that Deep Chaos actually has some potential with the right parts.
Ok, your point is that Chaos can deal with Drain Fafnir
Is there a need for this to be a question?
According to my test, the anti-zombie part is not the layer, but is the driver. Not sure whether chaos can defeat dF, but dC with driver Br does have anti-zombie potential since Br can make the bey keep spinning in very low speed.
