So I've seen a few of these made with Satellite dishes and what-not. Here's mine. Built out of wood and a 26" steel saucer sled. What do you guys think?
The video doesn't work for me
Code is bad. But copy and paste the video part of the link and it's actually a pretty cool stadium. Nice one.

I have L2, sadly i don't have G2 or X2 yet. Hoping to get those around Xmas time. If I do, I will totally post a battle!

Yeah, definitely. You want it like an "out of the box" battle, or do you want specific combos?

Out of the box so that it would emulate Shu vs Lui.

Ill do it next, stay tuned :-)
Btw it would be better if the tape is flattened or painted on(not sure if that itself is a good idea)
Because those will affect the movement of the beys

Yes, the biggest flaw with my current design. These lines are painted, but even that leaves a minutely raised area that affects their movement, primarily in the center of the stadium. I'm regretting painting the sled at all, as it came with a GREAT black powder coating that in and of itself is very durable. The stripes I painted in a neon (I was hoping to make a blacklight effect) and needed a clear top layer. I will likely sand and repaint in time.

ouch. Maybe if i were you I'll just carefully remove the painted on paint. The black coating seems to be protective

Also, how much did you spent making that??

yeah, definitely would leave it black next time. I don't have all the costs compiled, but I believe it was around $100-$150, after the sled, wood, hardware, and paint.
nice man!!

this is just...wow. That quality is off the charts IMO. Really wish I had time to make that rn...but that is crazy cool! Love the design...

and one question: would you recommend any type of plastic for the stadium floor?

btw do you think you might eventually be able to make a stadium with lighting strips underneath in a pattern like the anime stadiums? instead of paint lines? because that would be super neat! not telling you do it, but just offering interesting suggestions...

The lighting is an awesome idea! I will have to experiment with that and see what i can come up with

Thanks!

Btw, if possible, is there a type of plastic I could use as a substitute for the sled?
